Group buffs can bump your parse up 10k easy. When my guildie was buffing my character on his Healer my dps was a ton higher than what I can do on my own.

Hmmm. You barely make it out of "filthy casual" class. You may join my guild at rank of "almost acceptable". Let me know when you can do that DPS with your non-dominant foot whilst having root canal surgery, and I may let you in as a full member.

Dungeon boss fights are far more accurate than target dummies

Making an assumption about ps4 players dps being higher than xb1 isnt valid with only a few trollish comments. I would say that 40-46k with a stamblade or stamden is normal. With best skills and gear 50k is pretty simple. i have both a stamblade and stamwarden tgat hit over 50k but i rarely play either. If you cab hit 40-42k on a stamsorc then your numbers in group are gonna be equal to or better than that anyway and the stamsorc survivability is irreplacable.
Stam sorc is a misleading parse since there is no major or minor fracture in his kit...I hit 38-40 self buffed but 50+ on raid parse...

I’m scratching 40k on Stam Warden with practice. I don’t hit 50 on anything outside of group testing.
Don’t tell anyone, but I have toons that hit 20k and no one would ever question anything, if I’m playing them well. It really doesn’t matter for anything outside of vet trials or a DLC hardmode. Even then, I’m not in any kind of group where that would really matter.
Roll a WW if you really want to get elite DPS with with minimal effort. This guy in one my guild hit 76k on a big dummy test. With a rotation that looks like, la>la>la>la>la>la>la>la>la etc.1 -

That's a pretty crappy DPS. Top players pull 50k+ self buffed easily, even 60k+.

On most days when I'm knackered and can't be bothered with anything that even rhymes with "rotation", about 18k.
The sad fact is, to get great DPS I have to work at it, which saps all the fun from my game. On that basis I am ok to be a bit sucky, but do my own thing in blissful happiness.1 -

I am certainly not affraid to admit mine is nowhere near yours,
I get 25k dps on a really good day,
But i am lazy and really just couldnt be bothered
i do enough to kill daily undaunted bosses and i am good with that.

If you played with “normal” players you’d know 15k~20k if far closer to average. They complete vet content quite well with that. More than 20k players are something special and much fewer.
Straight out the gate, this whole thread that could have started out curious quickly became an ego stroke. Remember, it’s like %0.5 of players completed Maelstrom. %5 players complete a trial. We had class reps that don’t even finish main quest or cadwells.
If you’re more than 25k dummy nuking, you’re pretty much elite and become unrelatable to the vast majority of players, that will never have anything to do with this forum.7 -
