Are they on console? If so, how? I swear I've seen some 'bot looking' characters running around in a starter zone once. It was a train of people and it looked weird. I even saw a group of sorcerers in a row, spamming attacks at crabs once... I think they were crabs lol.

Yeah... that’s the thing... they do look weird, it’s kinda creepy....
The bot trains are easier to spot but the single farmers running circuits are often hard to distinguish between people just grinding and watching Netflix across the room, lol
Bots on console are simple rubberband on attack button up to macro use. They mostly stand in one place and spam casting. Are they on console? If so, how? [*] They are crouched by a harvest node (usually blacksmithing these days) and immediately harvest it when it spawns. If you place "questionable sack of meat" memento or "bear trap" memento in front of them, they will immediately activate it.
You show them this:Where and how do I identify a bot
This, generally.VaranisArano wrote: »First, the bots I see run pre-determined routes, never deviating from them, and often turning at right angles. I see them in farming zones like Bal Foyen, or farming locations like the Silverhoof Vale in Rivenspire. If you see a horde of people running together and nuking mobs who never deviate from their path and stick very tightly together, those are bots.
That too, and its really fun to mess with then that way. They are crouched by a harvest node (usually blacksmithing these days) and immediately harvest it when it spawns. If you place "questionable sack of meat" memento or "bear trap" memento in front of them, they will immediately activate it.
