I was a pre-order customer directly from the ESO website.
Even though they were totally upfront a valid payment method was required to set up a subscription which was required to get the 30 days, they are bending over backwards to help you people out and allowing you access anyway if you simply read the top post and contact support. This is how you treat them?
I sure hope OP comes back to this post with a big fat apology to ZOS once they take care of him.

I took it to mean that canceling the subscription and refusing to play means his pre-paid time is going to tick down while he is throwing a tantrum and that they wont give it back because he already got it and wasted it crying.eq2imora_ESO wrote: »MysticAura wrote: »If you cancel your sub, there's no chance of getting your 30 days. Actually, prepaid time doesnt expire when subs are cancelled. I regularly cancel game subs after payment processes so I dont get a recurring charge when money is expected to be tight. That way I can wait a few days for payday to show up.
My sub is prepaid. I give them 15 bucks, I get 30 days of service. Its like when you pay for most services like this.

I don't care, so they took £9 quid or $15 dollars or didn't, I have not even bothered to check. To busy playing the game. It may be they didn't make it clear that they would do this, thus leaving a small minority with no game time and a game that they cannot play. Yes the small print was on the web site or the back of the box, but people in their eagerness skip such things. Arcon, you paid for the game, whether it be a physical copy or a digital one, what you didn't pay for was the "FREE" 30 days. That's free. But and its a big But, to achieve the 30 days free you first have to have a Subscription to gain acces to the game, from which you at some point would get 30 days free. I may be wrong, but that's the way I read it on the information. Maybe they had to be a bit more clear on the issue. I feel bad for you, cos im really enjoying my time in the game, and im sure you would have too.
