Worth coming back?

Alot of these comments are saddening as I want an mmo to play and there's no good ones on console. The game has always had shaky patches and play but is it truly worse then how it was back at One Tam release or anytime before or after? How's PvP balance? Anything as broken as OG Black Rose or Seventh Legion? Is Heavy still meta? I have so many questions cause I kinda want to come back but if I do I'm bringing my all and will pay for subscription and buy Summerset to get the full experience. I know people always ragged on how bad the game is and always will but is it truly the worst its been?

It's a subjective thing, you may love it, who knows? All I can say is that, as a player since beta, I believe it's the worst it's been. ZOS have really been sucking the fun out of it lately and they certainly are not investing in the game or developing any decent human capital in terms of the people who develop and manage the game.

My personal view of course, give it a go for free, see how you feel. If you like it then you can go all in, there really is no need to from the get go.

I always get a kick out of these threads. The game is so bad, there are dozens of players who spend time on its message boards telling others how much they hate constantly playing it.

Agreed, plus all the original posters in these "Should I come back?" threads are asking is "Should I click on the launcher?" as it involves nothing more than that to see how they feel about the game - which isn't something anyone else can decide for them.

I’m on PS4 Na and I can tell you from my experience that the game is fun at times for me and other times terrible. Pvp has a low pop on PS4 at the moment tho this can be attributed to Red dead Fallout 76 BF5 and Black ops 3. As for Pve Nightblades Templar’s and Wardens are currently on top for Damage with Light attacks being big. My recommendation is if you are coming back just play casual. Hope this helps

PvP still sucks. It's laggy and certainly unbalanced.

But Summerset and Murkmire are nice additions to the game and 2-handed weapons now count twice toward a set, which was a Godsend for me. I'm not sure if that particular change was active when last you quit. But it's probably one of the best changes to the game since One Tamriel. A lot of the new sets are interesting as well.

If there is a better MMO out there I haven't really found it.

This game has it's flaws, for sure. But generally speaking, it's still one of the best MMOPRGs on the market if you ask me.

Eso is a husk of a game and ps4 is a dieing community (depending on timezone). Getting yourself a decent pc is worth your time and money as youll have greater choice of more refinded and polished games.

Eso has what, only 2 end games? Cyrodiil, which if you havent noticed is a joke and trials? Which are pretty similar, a buggy mess.

Timezomes, there are whole periods of dead patches where there are minimal people on, eg gmt 8+ onwards... The oceanic community has dwindled to a few handfuls of click groups and thats about it, more a glorified single player with multiplayer options if you like waiting on hold for and hour or so.

Go go on and on, but in a nutshell, the space on your ps4 is better used on quality games, leave this one in the bin.
