Does anyone having these issues? Sometimes skill effect renders 1-2 sec after the skill was cast, frequently happens with Sun Fire, also sometimes the game goes completely silent in battle, and after 2 secs all effects are played at once. I'm talking about casual questing, not Cyrodiil massive battles.

Hello, i am almost constantly having very annoying issue. My skills are some times delayed a sec or two, but it doesnt feel like internet lag. And also sound effect of my spells is just terrible screwed up, it comes with a 2 sec delay and its super annoying.

Yea, sometimes I have some pretty huge latency issues. But I'm never sure if its server side or me.

Thank goodness for summoned deadric followers haha. every now and then I'll lag out for 3-5 seconds in the middle of a fight. without em saving my ass I'd be spending a fortune in equip repairs.

So, nobody else has this? The problem is on both my and my friend PC, it's the only thing that is very annoying and it completely ruins the what should be "visceral" combat for me. I have no problems in other online games like Diablo3, combat there is flawless.

Sounds either like lag or an FPS issue. Probably both.

I'm running with /fps enabled, it's fine (45-60). I never had any lag, raids in WoW worked fine, Diablo3 T2 rifts combat is fine, ping -t is fine etc... POE is not, but it is not for everyone

Also my friend has the same issue, and our PCs are very different.

I have much the same thing. It feels like lag except animations are not delayed, only effects. I turned my graphics down to Medium and turned off shadows and grass, but it didn't seem to have much effect if any. The biggest thing, (not sure if it's related) is that objects, be they trees, rocks, or buildings, npcs, even mobs can take a crazy long time to load.

Example: Made a character and exited the cell area in Coldharbor and the Staircase, and even the Titanborn girl (Commander Shepard voice) took quite literally over 45 seconds to load. I had to just stand there.

Yeah, exactly, when I'm using my Aedric Spear (Puncturing Strikes?) sometimes my char starts to swing his arms in the air, and the spear loads later. I'm fine with NPC's sometimes not loading, but combat flow is very important for me.

Also, I've started to play 3rd person view more, somehow it gets better this way.

I'm getting really bad lag in game. I'm getting a consistent 60fps but stuff will just stutter. It doesn't last long though - for instance, I'll go to cast a spell or shoot my weapon and nothing will happen. It takes like a second or two to actually do something and sometimes if I did a couple actions all at once they'll just kick off all at once.

Perfect description. This just can't be EU-US ping. This is not 200ms, it's variating 0-2 sec. The thought it will never be fixed makes me really sad, cause in other aspects the game is really good. Like PoE never fixed desync.

Yep, I have the same issue. Some areas are basically akin to playing the game muted and having no effects except red AOE circles. Generally it's not unplayable except in select spots, one dungeon in Greenshade in particular. Again, animations play, no effects, lagged or no sound at all for the abilities. It's bizarre.

This is east coast US to NA megaserver, with the following hardware:

CPU: AMD FX4170
GPU: GTX 560ti
RAM: 8GB DDR3

I monitored the client through resource manager and it posts a solid 70ish ping the whole time. The issue seems to be entirely client related, despite several launcher repairs to try and fix it. I've tried wiping the UserSettings.txt as well to no avail.

Short of a complete redownload and reinstall I'm at a loss here. I tried the game on another desktop here with vastly different hardware and it has the same issue. I can't imagine it's related to the Realtek onboard sound, or way more people would have it with as common as Realtek chips are...

Beyond frustrating and GAMEBREAKING.
Nothing like getting smashed by level 30 mobs when you're level 40 all because you're stuck in place and no abilities work.
