4 feathers gets you the base model indirik, only with berries do you get power door locks and cruise control.
Actually you will be able to have 5 different indriks...the base one (Nascent) and 1 of each berry evolved one...

The specifics are directly listed in-game under Help > Events > Nascent Indrik Creation and Nascent Indrik Evolution- All 4 feathers can be used to create a Nascent Indrik.
- Collecting and using all 4 berries for a specific evolution allow you to evolve your Nascent Indrik into a more specific kind. Doing so removes the base Nascent Indrik from your collection (allowing you to then collect another with 4 more feathers).

What I'm saying is that when the Nascent Indrik is consumed by eating a berry than you should be able to get another Nascent with 4 more feathers and rinse and repeat...Definitely not a short term endeavor...0 -

I have many mounts from the free crates so I'm just chilling and not getting all hot and bothered by the rather convoluted method of getting this deer-thingy.So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.1 -

ZOS is actually wrong with their listings here.
Witches Fest had a maximum of 17 tickets.
Clockwork Celebration has a max of 24 tickets.
Dungeon Event has a max of 24 tickets.
New Life has a max of 20 tickets.
For a total of 85 tickets.
Their error comes from how they calculated, they took the number of hours for each event, divided it by 20, and cut off the remainder. They then multiplied the result by the number of tickets you earn per activity during the corresponding event (1 for witches, 2 for clockwork, etc.)
This gives an overestimate on events where the tickets availability is reset with the daily quests (clockwork and new life). This also does not account for the first granting of ticket(s) during events with a 20 hour cooldown (Witches Fest and Dungeon), leading to an underestimate on these events.
It is still possible to get 8 feathers, albeit with a smaller margin of error.

Please double-check my math - I can't figure out how to get the total tickets listed above. The ACTUAL available tickets from each event according to my count are as follows:- Witches Fest: practical max of 15 tickets, based on one ticket a day, from first boss kill of each day. (I don't remember if the tickets were based on a daily reset time or just the first gold skull of each day, i.e. a 20 hour cooldown between boss kills of that same type. It would have been very hard to get more than 15 tickets though, if you were also trying to farm dremora motif pages from other boss types.)
- Clockwork City: max of 24 tickets (12 days including final day, 2 tickets for first CWC daily of each day).
- Undaunted event: max of 21 tickets (not 24) (7 days from Nov 29 to Dec 5, 3 tickets from first final dungeon boss kill of each day after the dungeon reset time at 1am EDT)
- New Life Festival: max of 20 tickets if it runs from Dec 14 to Jan 2, based on one ticket from first New Life daily of each day (not a 20-hour cooldown). Possibly 21 tickets, since I have seen other articles indicating the event starts on Dec 13 instead.
I find it odd that the official sweepstakes rules not only had the incorrect number of earnable event tickets, but the wrong DATES for some events. It's almost as if they cut and pasted the info from a previous year's events, and changed the year numbers...

This gives a total of 80-81 achievable event tickets, or maybe a couple more if you were TRULY dedicated and played in 20hour shifts during the Witches Festival. I'm thinking that 8 feathers will not be possible by January 2 for most of us, if you miss a day here or there.
80/10=8, so yes its possible, and you're completely right that it's going to be a tight squeeze getting them this season. I'm currently sitting on 5 feathers and 6 tickets; should be able to get my ticket count up to 9 after the reset tonight. (And I can't help but feel like I had missed a day somewhere in the Clockwork event.) If your count of 20 tickets for New Life is right and I don't miss any days of it, that would put me right at 7 feathers and 9 tickets when this season ends. I'm really hoping I'll be able to squeeze out 21 from the New Life event. \o/
I'm sure there are many others such as yourself that are pretty close as well. Even if we have to wait till next season to get our 8th feather, that's still not too shabby.

I'm still all kinds of curious what the berries are going to cost. We're going to need 4 berries per evolution and can't use those extra feathers for our second indrik until then (source: in-game Help Menu > Events > Nascent Indrik Creation and Evolution).
On the PTS the berries were all 10 tickets each as well. It looks like the 4th "berry" event is going to be Mid-Year Mayhem. So, a way to go yet.
I'm confident the people who come out of New Life having earned less than 80 tickets are going to be able to catch up a lot during the 4 events when the berries are sale.PC EU0 -

You can't evolve mounts with feathers, only with berries. However, if you want to eventually own all variations of it, you will need 20 feathers total.0 -

Loot is supposed to be icing, but it's become the cake in ESO.
Plus whoever thought it was a good idea for players to adventure for "event tickets" in a high fantasy MMO needs a better imagination.1
