i Strongly disagree with you about that.
i solo play daily now for several years in eso, "daily"
and also:
@Sypher was just doing a livestream on eso recently and it proved that solo play is alive and well.
he even made reference to solo play multiple times in the stream selling eso as if it was a product he was proud of.
and i whole-heartedly agree with his sentiments
so i have to disagree with you, solo play is most assure alive and well in pvp in cryodiil.
[X] PvP is not dead, but not healthy either.

So what is your opinion on the current state of ESO PvP ?

Wall of text ahead, caution devs : if looking at too many words make head feel hurty, please close the tab.
someone linked this thread on discord, i hardly visit forums anymore cause ill prove that devs dont read anything related to pvp
its not naming and shaming if I say the devs are single cell organisms right ? something like that would go over their heads completely.
like everyone else said, anyone who says pvp is fine is a zergsurfer or zergling (CAPSLOCK FOR COOL: YOU ARE NOT "SOLO" IF YOU FOLLOW A BLOB AROUND THE MAP, THAT MAKES YOU A ZERGSURFER/ZERGLING)
pvp is dying because of all of the above reasons which the dedicated pvp players already know and are vocal about, so no need to repost that here since we all know the issues.
a simple solution which till date baffles me as to why they havent thought of this, is to enable dynamic AP in relation to the number of faction specific players who are present/contributing to the offense/defense tick
In simple caveman terms (fingers crossed a dev was dared into clicking on this thread) :
If there are 10 DC players defending aleswell from 72 EP(yes we all know which EU campaign im referring to), the ap tick generated from successfully flipping the keep should be split between all 72 EP players with no base minimum value ticks.
The EP blob would end up with 83 AP per player for flipping the keep (assuming the tick value was 6k), this would actually deter megazergs from stacking on one point, or from sending 20 players to retake 1 resource, or to stop chasing 3 players from Africa to Asia, reducing server constraints, spreading players out naturally and throwing a bone to non zerglings/zergsurfers (it has become apparent to me that saying the word s____scale sends the eso devs into shrieking fits of rage and confusion so please dont mention the S word).
There is more merit to this implementation than I have mentioned, but thats up to the devs to realize for themselves, cause if they can't then honestly all hope is lost and they are coasting on this for the zero effort paychecks until it crashes and burns.
This is how you improve pvp health and population. Ive not mentioned anything regarding pvp balance since we all know that its already hopeless, if a dev tells us they are looking into X skill or Y set..its always a change that triggers both sides who wanted a nerf and a buff.
I am looking forward to how the devs will suddenly become responsive when the next batch of MMOs are close to release
Thanks everyone else for reading my novel, it will be listed on amazon soon dont worry !

This poll is unfairly biased. It doesn't give any option to say that PvP has some problems without saying that it's either dead or dying.
To be fair, it has been going 5 years and I would expect anything that old in PC game terms to be on a downward spiral. I still enjoy it but only PvP 2-3 evenings a day when it used to be every evening and all weekend.
Shame but I'm waiting for Camelot Unchained now...
