You get to respec your attibutes, you get to respec your skills, this game NEEDs to have the option to respec your class, at a very high cost
Do you know how happy players would be if they even know there's an option to change class, even if they don't want to? Variety is good.
Having the option to change your characters class would just set this game above them all. It would be a true elder scrolls game. Play the way YOU want. Honestly I don't want to make another character, that would just make it seem like every other MMO.

You do get 8 character slots. I am excited to work on other classes/race combos, especially my Imperial DK Tank.
changing classes would be possible I suppose, I just don't know if it would be practical, if they had give you like 3 or 4 character slots then I think it would be necessary.You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

i disagree, in no other ES game you actually respec your characters (kind of breaks the RP aspect if your character can rearrange everything he's learned) and this would be an even larger step away from tradition ES games... i mean seriously. Do you remember playing any ES game and thinking (well, i regret putting a ton of points in to the restoration tree, i'm gonna yank those outta there and put them into 1handed combat"...
would it be nice, for some players yes... but your arguments is weak... and just wrong...

give yourself 3 months to learn the world, your class and all the abilities available to you, then roll another class!!
i facepalmed so hard when i read the OP - you have 8 character slots, "oh noes, i has to level to play another class, but i've just spent a week levelling, must demand paid class change" it's not exactly the end of the world.
i would've expected this kinda forum post about a year down the line, not within a week - play the game, learn the classes/abilities and make some alts.0 -
This is a terrible idea for the simple fact that it allows instant rerolling to the fotm class without the time investment. Bad for pvp and bad for pve.

This. Not to mention having to gear alts increases the grind, increased grind makes it take more time, this is more time between content patches and increased player retention assuming it's not stupid grind.
