I swear, I just can't combine it with anything aside from other EP pieces without it looking strange. It's one of the best looking heavy chest pieces in game imo, but it's a shame that it doesn't work well with different shoulder armor and helmets
Why not selecting outfit 1
buy ebonheart pact style motif
and then change at outfit station the looks of your armour, you can make all your gear, including dungeon soulders like that style.
The OP is saying that they like the way the EP cuirass looks, but it doesn't fit with anything other than other EP armor in the outfit station.
That's how I feel about the gauntlets. I like the finger caps, but since the main part of it doesn't dye totally white (it's a weird bluish-grey color) I don't really use it unless the outfit theme uses a different color.
I have the same issue in a general sense, sometimes you need to dye it to make it work. I'm still trying to find a better pair of boots for this outfit, but these work for now. Same for the gloves.
This uses: Ebonheart Heavy Chest, Daedric Heavy Shoulders, Xivkyn Light Belt, Ebony Medium Gloves, Skinchanger Heavy Legs, Abah's Watch Heavy Boots. I also use Daggerfall Heavy Helm, but generally don't have hats showing.
Dyes are Hunding and Ayelid Golds, Coldharbor Ash Black, Thalmor Black, and Volunteer's Iron.
I don't mean different style, I meant that it's literally hard to find pieces to look natural with it. I think it's mainly because it's lacking a closed neck ring armor
The problem with the three alliance styles is that some pieces are too bulky. The chest is particularly guilty of this. Even the light armor versions make character chests balloon out of proportion and in turn everything else looks weird, even on big characters. The helmets suffer from this too, I sometimes preview the helmets on my characters and can't help but laugh at how ridiculously misshapen they are.
