I agree, it happened to me the other day. I just shrugged and went on my way, there are other nodes around but it's a poor reflection on some players and the way they were brought up.
I know that everyone wants to complete their daily quests and get the goodies. Unfortunately, some people are just plain opportunists and don't play well with others. In the past several days, over three times, I've been standing over a clockwork city scavenger item that I needed, fighting the Clockwork city mechanical beings that were guarding it, and someone came in and grabbed it, while I was fighting. Since they weren't fighting, they had no trouble picking it up! I'd say that it was mostly new players, but one of the opportunists had a character score of 810, which indicates that they've been doing this a while. People need to come out of the PVP mode for regular quests and daily quests!

Crow incursions. People that Ultimate dump them.
No need. Heaven forbid you get a couple light attacks in instead.

Rick, I have been complaining about this since day one.
Resource hackers.
They always will come in and steal what you believe rightfully belongs to you.
It's just too bad ZOS didn't make a friendly memento to interupt players in pve for at least 5 seconds that stuns them so you can pick up your resource node.
That will teach those 5 year olds a lesson.

Well Welcome to LIFE where people take advantage of a situation, I'm disgusted that you felt the need to make a QQ thread about something that happens to EVERYONE, like you are some sort of special case who should never have it happen.

Besides, I'm often rewarded for yielding a node by finding another very quickly. The CWC event is different though. Despite a patient and gracious nature in game, it does get tedious spending half an hour under the 'Imperfect' WB bridge trying to get 8 plaques in that tiny circle with a hundred dear friends all trying to do the same thing at the same time.
The CWC dailies are fine quests most of the time but several of them are certainly not designed to support such a large number of players trying to do them as this event has predictably caused.
I usually do the same, unless someone else just snatched a node from under my nose, then I might feel snarky and act in similar discourteous manner for a bit. Might. If i see someone fighting close to a node, i leave them alone.
LOL, but yes if you kill some in cyrodil its part of the game.VaranisArano wrote: »PVE event farming is like PVP for PVEers.
I get more hate tells for beating people to nodes than I do for killing peoppe in Cyrodiil. Its pretty funny.
This, the CWC main quest is good and the crow part involves the best boss fight in the gameheres the problem, well a couple of them.
1. These players more than likely do not enjoy doing dailies (cause really who does after a certain point).
2. This event is tied to a specific time period that gives, from what it looks like, a pretty cool reward.
3. There are not enough nodes in smaller DLCs to handle the influx of players, especially not when they have access for free during ESO+ trial.
4. Players are annoyed at having to do an obligatory thing. People enjoy many aspects of the game and the longer they have to do this "stupid daily" is the longer they can not do what they want to do.
5. Nodes are not owned by anyone, hard and fast truth is just because you are fighting an enemy that spawns near a node that you want to gather, that node does not belong to you.
5a. An argument can be made that it is your obvious intention to collect that node, but an equally compelling argument can be made that you can't claim a node for yours simply by fighting enemies near it. One would hope that players show courtesy in this situation, but see #4, they want to be in and out as soon as possible, you are irrelevant to them.
How to fix? Get the crow daily, go to any other zone in the game, steal your items and turn it in. If you are trying to maximize rewards from this event you are going to have to either figure out a time that you are able to get what you need or join in the ratrace.
My worst experience was in my first event, tried to farm some motif from an TG delve, we was 8 players, I said we should group up so all would get loot. One guy agree so we ended up staring at the boss spot so we could drop ultimate on spawn.Caligamy_ESO wrote: »While it sucks to have this happen constantly, with every ESO event they make.. ZoS is the one you should be pissed at here, as it was their genius idea to leave the top 12 limit for boss loot on such encounters.Tan9oSuccka wrote: »I don’t get into the node stealing thing, but one thing irritates me more.
