Which reagent is the hardest to see at a distance without Keen Eye passive?

I never find a node too add to my map unless I spot it when it's holding bugloss or something equally visible. If it weren't for harvest map markers, I'd probably never find them again!

You must be blind, I can spot everything without markers. Maybe it's your screen?

There are a few select Giant Clam in Summerset that don't display the Keen Eye passive's glow and 'splash' effect anywhere near as strongly as the rest do.

Blessed Thistle, used to craft top quality potions and super hard to spot. Blessed Thistle has very little color difference from the grass and blends in. Nightshade is just disappointment because it looks like Blessed Thistle from a distance but when you get up close you find a worthless reagent instead. If I lived in the Elder Scrolls lore, I would be a terrible alchemist because I would mix up blessed thistle and nightshade; one of them is used for beneficial potions and one of them is used for poisons, so not good to get them mixed up.

Just turn grass OFF in settings....

    Problem solved ;)

Never have any problems seeing nodes again...plus save yourself a few skill points!

You only need 1 point in keen eye for each this way....and for some not even that.

There are nodes out there, typically ore nodes, that spawn just beneath the ground texture and the only indication that it's there is the glow keen eye gives off.

So in my opinion, it's that.

It used to be Columbine before they made it bigger. It was so small and you pretty much had to turn off grass to see it without the passive.

Cotton is the node I find hardest to spot. I just started a new character with no Keen Eyes and it's cotton nodes that I'm running right over without seeing most often. The interaction prompt just pops up seemingly out of nowhere.

Of the ones you listed mountain flower is the worst IMO. That's one of the few where I can be standing right next to it (without keen eye) and still have trouble seeing it.

I have the same problem with some of the clothier nodes too, especially cotton. Too small and no bright colours to make it stand out.

Come to think of it, ash wood is basically invisible to my eye... Thank goodness the top level mats are visible from space due to the bright red, those are the mats I want to stockpile

Before One Tamriel, my zone to farm cotton was Eastmarch.

White cotton on white snow...I never had enough cotton for my light armor crafting.

Yes, I found this extremely effective on Xbo....... oh wait, that’s right. Console users cannot do this.

Turn your grass off and put one single point into the passive that makes them glow. Bam. Complete visibility!
