Alliance War skill Purge not benefitting from mana regen passive

In the Alliance War Support skill line, there is an ability called Purge. In that same line there is also a passive ability called Magicka Aid, which says "Increases your Magicka Recovery by 10% for each Support ability slotted."
While this passive worked properly with Purge prior to a few patches go, it doesn't any longer.

However the Cleanse morph does.0 -
