The purpose of Crown Store sales is to deplete Crown reserves, and possibly get people to purchase Crowns at full price, in order to take advantage of the sale.

Dark Shaman is back. I have a character that wears that and I get asked what it is. Now people can grab it... outside of a Crown Crate! Exciting time to be alive.

I used to buy a very large bulk purchase of crowns when they were 50% off for Black Friday, but now I never buy crowns. I know other people, notably Alcast (he expressly stated this exact fact on stream today), are the same way. I would be very surprised if ZOS doesn't lose a lot of money not offering a sizable crown discount at this time of year. They could just make it a 12 hour sale on Cyber Monday or something. I am sure that there will be a sale on Crowns before the end of the year. If not, then in January. I don't expect it to happen at the same time as a big sale in the Crown Store. People will be buying Crowns at full price because of the sale. They don't need a sale on Crowns right now to get people to buy them.Edited by Elsonso on November 21, 2018 10:47PM3 -

Thanks. That sentiment was shared by responses in that thread. I have decided to pick up the Banker.
This is the cue that ZOS has been waiting for to bring out Banker 2.0 in December. He will do everything and won't look like a middle aged accountant. You can thank me later. 1 -

Saturnana✭✭✭✭✭Used my last ESO+ crowns to get the only DLC I didn't own yet, and the Ball Gown that was already discontinued by the time I started playing about 2 years ago.
