Will gamepad support be added?

There are 3rd party solutions, but they don't work as well as native support.

Since you will have to have game controller support for the PS4 and XB One, it makes sense to add it to the PC/Mac versions ASAP.

If it will be added for the PC and/or Mac, when do you expect this to happen?

TIA

While I'm waiting for an answer:

For those Interested in using an xbox 360 controller with the PC version, there are multiple choices:

    1) Pinnacle Game Profiler (paid software) has multiple choices on their website (my personal choice). [There is an ESO addon using a PGP profile.]

    2) Xpadder (free): there are posts on the net where people have used this software with ESO.

If you think you have the hutzpah, you might consider moving down a subforum and starting a thread about this topic in the PC Tech forum. There's probably going to be some people interested, and it could be really helpful!

I'd love proper gamepad support (there are some discussions in the PC Support Forum). I've tried XPadder and it works quite well but it combat I've found that some of my attack clicks seem to get 'lost' and I'm much speedier with a mouse.

The other problem with 3rd part solutions as opposed to proper game pad support is that you only mimic key presses and it becomes really awkward accessing menus designed to be accessed by mouse (inbuilt game pad support should allow menus to be fully accessible from just a pad). I ended up having to use gamepad, mouse and keyboard to play effectively!
