When: 3rd boss, Archcustodian, after being stunned by the 1st beam the boss will regain it's shield and continue moving.
Everytime?: I want to say there's a 20% chance it'll happen but it might happen more or less than this.
What happens: Archcustodian gets stunned by the beam once he walks into it. People attack the boss. After 20-30 seconds the boss gets it's shield back & spawns the 2 mobs (either 2x Calefactors or 2x Dissectors or 1 of each) but they are spawning directly on top of the Archcustodian. They are visible, empowered instantly and require the group to skip 2-3 buttons so that they can try to recover.
What is meant to happen: Archcustodian regains it's shield and continues moving, spawning the 2 mobs by the next lightning beam not on top of itself.
Since when has this been happening: Since Morrowind launch.
The only time I've seen the stuck-in-combat bug in the pre-boss 3 trash is in conjunction with the misspawn of the first add wave.
Specifically, after you pull the first switch, instead of two adds spawning in the alcove after the first stun line, they spawn at the first stun line, which means they spawn next to the boss and instantly empower.
This bug has always been accompanied by us being stuck in combat after killing the trash. And each time we were stuck in combat after the trash, we'd get this spawn bug on the first switch pull. We believe that they are related because sometimes we can see two red dots on our compass, in the direction of where the two adds misspawn.
