People simply don't want to share wordbossdailies in Clockwork city, i've been trying for an hour to get the wraith of crows worldboss and none replies or groups with me to share it, i see people are doing the quest so it's not like people aren't getting it.

I got it now by placing myself near the boss and ask people waiting for it to respawn. Thanks!

Zone chat however did not work.

My particular grievance is the sparse harvesting nodes - they are few and far between.

However, in the last few weeks, I've been collecting stuff for the crow dailies - nice, quick and easy. Crows are so easy to please! :D

Its a bit weird in Orsinium everybody shares all the time.

On the other hand crows are easy to please.

When i did my first dailies yesterday ppl were demanding in zone chat that others do less damage to be able to hit the boss. It was a mess. Even on the mobs you had to kill before the boss so much ppl were waiting..
After that i did the quest were you have to collect wood... What a wonderful idea... 1000 ppl are searching for wood, while others farm it like crazy because double drop..

Yeah, the only manageable quests are the crows' ones (that you can do in advance or at least elsewhere) and the delve ones, where killing the delve boss is not required (at least not in the shadow cleft one)

Try running the quest during prime playing times -- I was on in the middle of prime evening play on PC-NA, and there were so many players hanging around you could hardly see the boss when it spawned. Aim for the health bars and smash away... The greater worry was that I wouldn't get a hit in before it went down and have to wait again for it to respawn, which was what happened on several rounds of the three minor bosses you had to kill before going in after the Wraith of Crows.

I got the Imperfect quest yesterday, you need to gather 8 pieces of scrap around the bridge. Well, Rapid Maneuver hasn't been more useful, that feeling when you reach a node at the exact same time of another player and you got it

Unfortunately, these dailies expose all the flaws of ZOS' annoying quest choices.

    Player competition for limited nodes
    Player competition for quest items
    Player competition for quest spawns
    Only 12 players get loot

    Its a recipe for frustration.

Honestly, events like these are why I say that "Event and mat farming are like PVP for PVEers". I see enough zone chat salt to think I'm in Cyrodiil, and I definitely get more hate tells from racing people to nodes than I ever have in PVP.

One would think a multiplayer game might accommodate multiple players a little better. But you're right, it doesn't. More often than not - having multiple players around while questing on ESO is more of a nuisance than a help. And when you have events like the one in Clock Work City come along (especially considering it's one of the smaller zones) it only serves to emphasize these problems.

And It is pretty annoying having another player beat you to a node, especially if it keeps happening. I'm not going to lie. So I can understand the hate tells. But I personally blame the game, not the player.

This is why my normal approach during one of these special events is to avoid that zone and spend my time in the others which are usually emptier and so easier to farm than usual.

Unfortunately you can't get event tickets that way so I'm stuck in the fray with everyone else. I felt terrible yesterday grabbing rune nodes when I could see another player coming for them, normally in that situation I'd let them have it because I know I'll get more later on, but yesterday I just wanted to get the quest done and get out the map, so I was being more competitive than usual.

The last event wasn't quite as bad, because any boss counted I just found an out of the way world boss that never had more than 12 people fighting it and left a character there to collect tickets. But that doesn't seem to be an option this time as there's only a few CWC dailies to choose from.

Pretty much this. I ended up just doing one quest for the tickets and then bailing - I'll probably do the same for every day of the event. It's not worth the mess.

I would never harass another player for beating me to a node, or out-competing me for damage on a boss (I might be cursing them with an embarrassing affliction, off-screen, but I wouldn't get in their face via chat).

As I assumed it would, it became apparent very quickly yesterday that trying to earn tickets from the CWC WBs would be a lost cause, because of a huge number of people crammed into a small space competing for the same thing.
It was bad enough during the Witches Festival when we could earn tickets all over Tamriel; confining the mad race to one, comparatively small region made it exponentially worse (read: far less fun).

I noped-out of the event after receiving a whopping gross total of 1 gp from two WB runs. CWC isn't my favorite place to begin with (not a big fan of steampunk), so IF I decide to continue collecting feathers, I'll just buy this event's feather when the next event hits.

And honestly, if we could sell the feathers I'd do it, because none of my characters, as imagined, are dying to have an Indrik mount.
I'd much rather have a Senche.

I just do the quests after midnight when people are heading to bed so there's less people gathering the nodes or camping the mob spawns, and I have a chance to destro ult the boss for credit.

Every time I try to monitor zone chat I have to turn it right back off due to the irritating spam - not just this event but all the time. As a result I just can't monitor it for folks looking for help which is a shame.

The node competition during this event is . . . not a pretty thing and, I would think, drive mostly soloers like myself further away from embracing MMOs. Seems the answer would be to make the quest nodes sharable like boxes of tomatoes and bags of flour are. I recall a similar problem when the daily pre-Murkmire quests started - players fighting over non-sharing mammoth meat I think it was. Lol.

I thought this would be the case, since these dailies were annoying even during the jubilee event. So Wednesday night, before the event started, I picked up 3 dailies on 4 characters and got them all done pretty quickly (didn't turn them in). I also have characters that will only get shadow cleft delve dailies, since those ones have instanced objectives.
Then again I already have both motifs and I'm not looking for the zone sets, just the tickets. So I can coast at this point.

Zone chat however did not work.

I got the quest for Wraith of Crows, but when I got there there were 50 people standing around waiting for it to spawn. I knew I might not get credit for the kill by myself, so I /said "LFG", but nobody responded. I then said, "I have the quest to share", still no response. So I stood in the middle and spammed Steel Tornado and was able to hit all of them at once and got credit.

    Haha nice one! :)

And i've also noticed several other flaws with the dailies there, the lack of instancing of stuff and sharing pickups among groupmembers which does exist in other zones dailies.

This is not fun, but very annoying to say the least, the inconsistencies.

I have had zero problems with any of the 4 daily quests yesterday or today. You don't need to be part of any group to get credit for the bosses. Just stand with the rest and wait for it to spawn. Then just get a few good whacks in. Nodes are everywhere and respawn prolifically. I think that ZOS learned from the difficulties we had with the salty meats quest from Jee-Lar. I even had time to do some fishing.

The Imperfect WB daily has a requirement to gather 8 plaques that are not shared and only occur within a tiny defined circular area - full of players competing for the non-sharing plaques. In this case, 'looking farther afield' is of no help. To make matters worse, when a node does spawn it is generally guarded. If you fight the guarding foes, someone grabs the node while you're doing so. If you let someone else fight the guarding foes and grab the node while they are doing your fighting. . . well, I just won't do that. Finally, you have to gather the significant number of 8 plaques with each one being an exercise in frustration.

The big Crow WB daily is no problem though since the respawning waves you have to kill are shared just fine.
