im bored too...if only the game could shift in a way that didn't alienate so many and still be a huge change!

Find a new game to play until you overcome your boredom.
Have you tried a lower dps, higher survivability setup for your flawless run? Resto staff backbar, two shields to stack, lightning cloak, that kind of stuff? You won't be able to burn bosses but as long as you follow the mechanics you can take a beating and survive.
I've been there, I left ESO and played some other games for a bit until the itch came back. Have you tried using unusual, off-meta characters/builds? Like a magicka/stamina hybrid, ice only mage, no cp challenges, soloing dungeons meant for 4? How about fishing, crafting, playing a merchant, collecting motifs, making your house pretty?
If nothing's keeping you interested, take a break, it'll come back to you. Best of luck

I don't know I guess some folks have low expectations for DLC.
Boredom in an MMORPG has more to do with whom one plays with.

Agree.
Everyone hits burnout at some point or another. The best way I've found to combat it is to take short breaks on another game. Play a single player RPG, or an ARPG, or something else you enjoy.
Do that for a few days to a week, then come back and see how you feel.

i thought it would be a while until i made a thread like this but i’m finally done with being in denial about my boredom with the game
i log on my main who i’ve achieved so much on and have no idea what i feel like doing in game. i’ve lived in cyrodiil for months before, played 1000s of bgs (on various chars and builds (mainly below 50) and 100s on my main over 50), done plenty of endgame pve (minus a few trials on vet) and done vma enough times.
i main a magsorc and one of my main goals was to get flawless conqueror, and i kept trying and trying and each time i got better, but ever since the murkmire patch i haven’t even attempted it.. i know i should see what it’s like for me but i’m certain it’ll have put me a step back making it more difficult so what kind of motivation is that?
i love this game for so many reasons but i’m truly burnt out.. partly my fault for playing so much in the last year but i also feel like it’s quite repetitive .. especially the events
the events are just replaying the same content you’ve done before when the zone first came out..
a couple of suggestions:
1. a new actual big zone with slightly increased pve difficulty would be super nice.. maybe another craglorn, or another wrothgar just in terms of zone size.
2. one of my biggest wishes is some kind of 2 man pve arena, or 2 v 2 pvp arena type of thing, something completely new. bgs was one of the best and most fun additions to the game (when the queue actually works 😭) but i doubt it’ll happen.
is anyone else feeling the same at the moment?
I suppose that one -could- be done...valkyrie93 wrote: »1. a new actual big zone with slightly increased pve difficulty would be super nice.. maybe another craglorn, or another wrothgar just in terms of zone size...
What I would like is those "2 man Battleground arenas" and also some less combat-oriented "PvP" options. Like... foot races, swimming competitions, horse races, just run/swim/ride in some circuit with or without random obstacles, and be the first to make it through the goal after a few rounds; or PvP-enabled labyrinths where you may or may not encounter the other contestants at all as you make your way through the twisting pathways, puzzles and NPC mobs, or "barrom brawls" where your weapons and armor are inaccessible, or dancing competitions, or "hide and seek" challenges, or many, many other minigames that people can play against player friends and foes... without the "deadly seriousness" of straight-up PvPvalkyrie93 wrote: »2. one of my biggest wishes is some kind of 2 man pve arena, or 2 v 2 pvp arena type of thing, something completely new...
