THERE IS NO PLACE ON THE WEBSITE TO PAY MY MONEY

torracatb14_ESO
hey guys, don't you want my money? I cannot log in because the Pre-release gametime is over, but I cannot play because your devs forgot to put a link to sign up with my credit card. c'mon guys....

There's no link specifically for entering billing/subscription info initially. What you have to do is use the 'Redeem Code' link, enter your retail game key (assuming you have received it -- hopefully you have) and then it will walk you through the steps to set up a subscription.

Many of us redeemed a code 3 weeks+ ago. It's technically already used and invalid. Pretty much at a dead-end for logging into game.

i have the same issue as well,i only had one code and already entered it so its not valid

That was your Early Access code. You should have received another code, which is your Retail code. If you didn't (and it seems many people didn't) then that's the problem. (I actually have 3 different codes: Early access, Retail and Explorer's.)

I pre-purchased a physical Imperial Edition from an online store, and have just realized that I don't have access to the game anymore either. I did not expect to loose access to the game while shipping took place after the early access period ended. Is it possible for those of us in this situation to set up our monthly subscription in some other way and regain access prior to receiving the physical game in the mail?

If you have a physical edition of ESO, as far as I understand the game code is IN the box. Without this, you will not be able to put in your payment information. That's the problem and why so many are upset- because there is no way to access the game until the box arrives. I know, it's beyond ridiculous.

That does seem to be the issue, just got that far with debugging.

On examination of the forums, I noted that those who were successful were buying the game from the store directly. Checking this out, I found that they were going to this link, https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/store/get-subscriptions. So I logged out of my account, logged back in and tried that exact link. Results were that it tells me "THIS PRODUCT REQUIRES THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE" and would go no further. Therefore, the issue is now obvious, the game code for early access is not being accepted as the code for owning the game. If whoever set up that database will just drop all the early access codes in there, we'll all be able to get this done.

I also have 3 codes. Early access that i have already used and now i have the game key and the explorers . The issue with me is that the billing system they are using says there is an error with my address so it will not let me place in my CC info. I know that im typing it all in correct and have also even checked with my bank to make sure they have the correct address on file. i submitted a ticket to be called back and e-mailed 5 hours ago and havent heard anything back. guess they dont want my money lol

I got the digital software key. There is never more than one product key .... It's 'category' of key was to allow 3 days early access, not 5 or zero.

So Game Fly was supposed to email a second digital software key on launch day? Absurd.

And yet it makes perfect sense, too.

By George, I figured it out! I bought mine from Amazon, and went back to look. I'm dead certain the original order showed only one key. Now I've got two keys when I look at the codes in the "manage your digital orders" gimmick. I entered the second key and it let me sign up! I'm in like Flynn!

I'm going to go ahead and throw my support behind those who say this is an idiotic way to handle things. I pre-ordered my copy on January 29, 2014. I entered an Early Access Code which has worked fantastically the last week.

I haven't been able to play all day, and apparently will not be able to play until Tuesday or Wednesday as my physical Imperial Edition (that I paid a pretty penny for) has not yet arrived to my house.

Basically, the customers who spent the most money on preorders are not allowed to log in if the physical copy hasn't been delivered to their homes.

All that's left to say is that my 'free' 30 days cycle better not be starting today. It should start the day I enter my billing information, and frankly, those of us in this situation should be getting something as compensation as well.

if you ordered from gamefly.com, log in at gamefly and check your purchase history and all the codes associated with whatever edition you bought will be there. go to redeem codes and once you put in the correct code it will take to billing/sub automatically.

Okay, fine. Believe what you like, but it's a fact, the system that Zenimax is using employs multiple keys and if you don't have the Retail key, which is different from the Beta or Early Access key, you don't get in. I'm just trying to help point you in the right direction to actually resolve this thing.

Amazon had only a single key initially. Now I have two more under "manage digital orders" in the games library. THAT is what the problem is.

Amazon did NOT tell me I'd have to check again later to get the other keys needed to play the game.

Yeah, that's the issue for everyone. Whoever moderates this forum ought to pin that.

I'll wait for you to come back and notice that you can't order a subscription....just like I did.

That one I can't help with, I don't think they'll take a VISA gift card though. Does OK with a VISA debit, I think.

No second key available from Amazon for me in the described locations on their website. I have an early access code in an email, and that's it unfortunately.
  • PerfectTemplar
I bought from neoseeker and have no retail key, cost me $95 AUD for an early access code -_- I have opened a ticket on both websites but honestly I doubt either one will reply within a few days..
  • steprofano
First of all, i bought the game on pre-sale never played because of the crashes, now that i got some light on the problem, i can't even log in because of the "i dont have the second key" situation. Thanks a lot, Zenimax. ¬¬'
  • torracatb14_ESO
I found it. I was apparently emailed 3 codes. The first one was the beta code, the second one got me to the 30 days and pay plan screen. I have no idea what the third could be for. The email I received did not bother to explain it at all....

Well, I'm in the game now. At least that's something to be happy about.
