I dont think that I have seen many people use decisive and invigorating for example. In your opinion, what traits are bad and why?

Invigorating replaced another mostly useless trait, Prosperous, which was only used by bots and players who didnt realize you saved more money on repair costs by wearing impen.

For me, there's nothing more useless than Training trait gear on a Max CP character.

Decisive was used back when the ultgain builds were used.
Then it was pretty cool for those niche builds.....nowadays pretty much useless.

Invigorating well zod was told its too weak at launch, still nothing changed.
Sry but 77 reg on health stam and magicka are just bad af.
If the rwg was percentage based it would maybe be usefull in borh pvp and pve
    PC EU
vAA HM / vHRC HM / vSO HM / vMoL HM / vHoF HM / vAS HM / vCR HM / vSS HM / vKA HM

Flawless Conqueror / Immortal Redeemer / Dawnbringer / Griphon Heart / Master Angler / Spirit Slayer

Invigorating is total trash for rather obvious reasons. 7 traits give you 77 health, mag, and stam recovery. Double it and people will consider it.

It isn't meant for max lvl characters. Its sole purpose is for grinding xp and leveling.

Number wise invigorating is actually pretty ok. It gives 11 recovery on every resource while divines with recovery mundus gives 17 on only one of them.

It's just that the only place where it might be useful - PvP - is dominated by impen.

Invigorating is actually really useless and needs am rework tbh but dont touch my decisive trait!!!!!!

I like it for backbar and use it in many Builds. For example on my stamden build where my backbar S&B is decisive and sturdy.

I would use invigorating over nirn or reinforced on almost every build, tank included. Those 2 traits are almost useless to me.

@Gnozo check out this thread, https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/5171788. Decisive is garbage

Invigorating is not bad if you spec for regen. Decisive is not bad if you spec for ulti, I've been thinking of using it on a ww pvp backbar to get the wolf ulti faster.

Also they might boost them in a patch so I wouldnt decon just because of the trait.

However they are circumstantial and not considered meta and according to ESO Gamer Logic (tm) anything that isn't meta is useless and you cannot fight a mudcrab with it.

I still like it, somtimes i am missing just one ult point for my Spellwall wich gets me killed, decisive helps with this even tho its not that much.

Sure there are better options but for me, ist not worth my 50 crystals

ZOS should just scrap all requirements for trait items when crafting except for nirn.

Most of them are just clutter and worth 1g each in guild stores.

Those with ESO+ just have them scooped up into oblivion, those without just destroy with Dustman.

The only trait items worth keeping are Training (for selling to low toons or for your own low toons), Divines for armor, Infused for weapons. That is about it, at least for DPS. Healers and tanks may want the odd infused / sturdy pieces on their body. Rest is, for the most part garbage. Healers may also want Powered for resto staves.

ZOS needs to either make the others more relevant, or just scrap the trait items needed for crafting.

Nirnhoned and Invigorating for armor. Nirnhoned only gives a miniscule amount of resists that a protective jewel or just 30 or so CP can cover. The recovery is also just crap from Invigorating.
For weapons, just Charged. Charged doesn't proc status effect on any melee weapons, bows, or resto staves. And destruction staves do enough of their elemental damages to easily proc burning, concussion, or chilled. And using charged for off balance is useless as off balance has a cooldown. Decisive still has its uses, as I know some tanks use it on their front bar when they use lightning or ice blockade backbar for max crusher uptime.

Charged + lightning staff(shock enchant) + wall of elements = 100% uptime on minor vulnerability(8% more dmg taken). It's good for healers.

If invigorating was percentage based that would be pretty cool. Invigorating + Willows path could make for some interesting builds.

There are better options tbh and most trial groups already have a really really high uptime on concussion. They have at least one DD with asylum destro tho.

Every trait other than infused and divines, training is only useful for alt leveling and infused is only useful sometimes on head, chest and legs

Reinforced gives less armor then nirn on everything but heavy chest, legs and shields. Just as useless as nirn. If not more.

Also charged procs enchants status effects.

And heavy armor helmets, shoulders, and boots as well.

The whole chart is about halfway down this thread if anyone's curious about the baseline numbers.
