Ya interesting build. I am going to try it. I ha e been doing good with a differsnt build and no shield. I have not tried vma although i have been having a great time runing vet dungeons again.

By the way, I think you could get more benefit and achieve the same effect if you switched out Plague Doctor for Twice Born Star with Health mundus added and a couple Hakeijo enchants on the big armor pieces. You would end up with the same amount of health, but you would also get around 2K extra Stamina.

i must say this is the best ever build guide i have seen anywhere. i am officially Stormproof now. and i've been trying to clear vMA (to no avail) for over a year, couple of times a week, sometimes for hours, trying different builds that "100% work". yesterday was the day i cleared it for the first time (thanks to this build, slightly modified) and i started to farm it, that's how easy it is. run it 3 times, got Defending Resto. staff, 1H+Shield and Infused Inferno staff (yay!!). and the farming is going to continue. thanks to the video creator, you made it possible.

p.s.: what i run is 2x Illambris, 5x Necropotence (body), Plague Doctor jewelry and lightning staff. skills are Hardened Ward, Volatile Familiar, Inner Light, Power Surge, Blockade and Ele. Rage Ultimate with tri-stat food. almost had a Flawless run the last time yesterday, i only died because i am a certified noob and forgot to make sure that my Surge was on a couple of times. so i dieded to death..

@mzprx Glad you could get a build to work for you. I did the same after seeing his vid. I went and swapped the gear and could survive VMA again. It wasnt my first time, but i still need some more weapons. Glad you got the fire staff. All told I've ran VMA around 80 times and have never got a fire staff. I have actually got the resto staff 30 times.(I counted again to make sure). I would say you have to love rng, but I dont. Congrats on the clear and happy farming.

Make sure you cast blockade with vMA stuff guys, lol feelsretarded

I've been following Mistress for a while and watched alot of his twitch streams. He does not use any cheats. He is a very experienced player and thoery crafter. He is very good with a pet sorc. With some practice and rng luck you can do what he is doing. Good Luck to you on VMA.

You're probably trolling, but it's ok, I understand how fanboys operate... I asked straight questions. How is it possible that oneshot mechanics almost heal him. I wonder if someone knows. I don't run vma because I farmed all weapons there, but I always looking for weaknesses in game I play, just to point it out and because it is my job after all.

So I got my first VMA clear last night on this build.

I was on stage 6 with my NB so i was familiar with those first levels and i pretty much blasted them with the sorc. 6 gave me some trouble and deaths, so did 7, 8 was nothing, and the final stage took alot of time but i finally pieced it all together.

So then i went back in and ran it again. I died once on 4 but that was because my charge ran out. I died once on 5 (less than first by far) and 0 on 6. 7 still caused me problems but not as many and 8 was still cake. I went to bed before i attempted 9 again but it took me less than 10 deaths to get there. Once you get the rhythm of the arena and the sorc it becomes second nature. I prioritize staying alive and things just die on their own.

TY for this build and GL to others trying it.

I saw someone in another forum a while back whining about how much he hates bar swapping and that without it you don't have enough skills to be any good...
