Had but cancelled after this latest debauchery of an update called Murkmire. That and the behavior of z0$ staff. Some of them act as if they hold Doctorate degrees, are clairvoyant, and are somehow certified/justified in PMing rebukes to well-educated professionals with nearly grown kids of their own. This is the only major MMO I've played where I have never once seen a dev or any of the leads post replies to common concerns and complaints. Instead the only responses we get are weird little private messages telling us we are muted or some other trifling garbage. Its supposedly an adult oriented game, but our valid complaints and expressions are either ignored, or addressed by being silenced.

Got a refund because of having latency issues massive lag spikes of 14000ms and all that. Not sure if i'll ever get plus again unless something gets done about performance for oceanic players which i doubt very much.

After 2 years of ESO+, I unsubbed last week until, if ever, the unplayable lag-fest it has become is ever rectified. Can't even do crafting writs without +999 in my face.

Craft bag is the biggest reason for me. I love crafting and gathering. Also, I believe that, if a company is making something I get enjoyment out of, I should be supporting that company so it can continue to do so.

I did for about 2 years. I cancelled my sub recently because I refuse to continue paying money when the game can be unplayable at times due to lag.

I have it have had it for a couple of years now but with performance problems and an ever increasing ping ( 350+ ) I may not continue with it after my 6 months is up this time around which would really mean I stop playing all together.

No. Buying DLCs and subbing feels wrong. Rewarding Zeni for their bad performance feels wrong too.

Unsubbed for the first time this month since April 2014 due to the Australian latency issues

I am in West Australia and this is the same reason I will more than likely let my sub run out, I have had times lately where my ping has been 9999 + ( yes 9999 not 999 but actually 9999 ) which really is beyond a joke.

I have ESO+ for the Craftbag, DLC's, Storage, Crowns, and to support the game.
Never had a problem with paying my monthly sub, it's a hobby after all and I know people who spend much more for their hobby. But the recent problems with lag and overall server performance really cuts into my gaming experience, so I start thinking about if it's really worth paying to be frustrated more often than not lately :(

    I don't.
I only have one toon, master crafter, fully upgraded bank and backpack, and I don't really need extra space.
Cp 967, and plenty of gold, so don't even need exp or gold bonus.
And now that we get few free crates per month, I also have some gems to spend.
    I don't like costumes so I don't use them
I buy crowns for dlcs and that's it

Other than books and a couple of streaming subscriptions (no cable), ESO is my sole entertainment. Since I'm in-game 5-12 hours daily, it's money well spent for DLC access, inventory, xp, and the extra crowns. I do a lot of gathering/crafting and having unlimited materials inventory is huge. First played the game at 2014 launch and the very limited inventory was a nightmare for anyone interested in crafting. Bag space is just one less thing I have to fiddle with.

With any luck, the amount of people dropping plus will prompt a free trial of it; my inventory is starting to get more full, so I could do with the trial again:)

I used to sub but realised there is absolutely no value in the sub at all. A fool and their money and all that...

It's about 100ukp a year and all you get are a few dribs of minor content, the chapters are paid ex-pacs, and it's cheaper to buy the DLC outright and own it. The XP boost is redundant as I am CP capped, and even if I were not, you get countless XP scrolls from the daily rewards. I have tens of thousands of crowns from previous subs anyway, I never spend them as the Crown store is full of instantly forgettable, babyish tat, I still ride my Paint Horse from release.

The only way ZOS can sell the sub is crippling the game and forcing inventory hell onto people, but I have tons of mats in the craft bag from when I did previously sub, so I avoid that - whilst you can't add new mats, you can use the stored ones. And the very fact that ZOS choose to use the threat of a deliberately obtuse in-game inventory system to cajole people to sub (the sort of tactic employed by F2P games, not B2P) is reason enough for me to never re-sub to the game, on principle alone.

If ESO was a good quality game, like say FFXIV, I'd have no issue subbing at all, but with the amount of bugs, lags, poor design choices and Crown Store gouging, they don't deserve a sub.

I do, the main reasons are:

    1. The crafting bag.
    2. Dyeing outfits.

Everything else is nice but not even comparable to those two things for me.
    ”Fusozay Var Var”: ”Enjoy Life”
Life is short. If you have not made love recently, please, put down this book, and take care of that with all haste. Find a wanton lass or a frisky lad, or several, in whatever combination your wise loins direct, and do not under any circumstances play hard to get. Our struggle against the colossal forces of oppression can wait.
    Good. Welcome back.
We Khajiit live and fight together, and our struggles will not end very soon, likely not in our lifetimes. In the time we have, we do not want our closest comrades to be dour, dull, colorless, sober, and virginal. If we did, we would have joined the Thalmor.
Do not begrudge us our lewd jokes, our bawdy, drunken nights, our moonsugar. They are the pleasures often denied to us, and so we take our good humor very seriously.
Outfit slots are, no longer disgustingly expensive. A bit on the high side, but at least they are account wide now. So now, this one, my mate, and our cub all have at least two outfits.

Most will say the crafting bag and that is a huge part of subbing. But honestly I sub bc I want to support the game. I love the game. ZOS and I will have our disagreements, their customer support and tech maintence is and always has been pretty suspect. But overall ESO is my favorite game and I am happy to support it.

Craft bag, crowns, and not a basement-dwelling freeloader. When I go inactive, I cancel my subscription, when I get back, I buy a month.

I barely, if ever, buy crowns. Everything in the crown store costs 3x what it's worth.
