She doesn't offer dungeon/trial gear though, except monster sets? I thought that, aside from monster helm sets, she only trades in overland jewelry.

Also as far as I know the reason jewelry was added in the first place was because golden jewelry for dungeon and overland sets was simply unavailable prior to jewelcrafting. Not because it was overly hard to obtain but impossible.

It would be really, really neat if there were several ways to get something. Like... monster helmets, as in , you can either get the right drop from a dungeon, or PvP for them... personally I would also add a tiny chance for undaunted daily missions...

Same for all those special weapons, after a while (say, a year or two), add a secondary way to get those. Or two secondary ways, for example, either you get a weapon for completing an arena/dungeon, or you buy it with lots of AP you PvP for way more then the runs, or you have some "easier but taking waaaay longer" way to earn them through activities even average solo players could do... that way, -everyone- has a chance, only those who do the "proper" activity will get there faster.

Also... considering how many weapons there are, and how limited their droppings... it -really- would make sense to give out all bind-on-pickup stuff as "token" (or rather, special drop that a special artisan can turn into a weapon of your choice! Same for monster helmets I would say, to avoid people getting frustrated over the gods of the die roll hating them...)
