I would rather drop snipe damage by say 1/2 or whatever would be an acceptable drop, remove rhe cast time and make it bow spammable. Would make for a much more interesting playstyle. Then you can leave the tree the way it is and it makes more sense.

....I loath snipers.... most bugged skill in the game.... well... most "desync" skill in the game. And zos just ignore it.

we are in agreement, would you be willing to sign a petition stating how the bow tree is currently out of order and needs a reorder. I'm thinking we move new draining shot to the last and make poison arrow or snipe the 3rd.

Quarterly content releases are really, really cool, but personally it's hard to maintain the level of enthusiasm needed to really take full advantage of them.

I can deal with the changes, I hoard enough gear for alot of play styles on my two mains. What is really turning me away is the decline of pvp population, which in turn makes viv the only campaign where actual pvp happens. A vivec that can't handle it's own population and lags uncontrollably. A vivec that I take my magnb and can't weave for mercy stacks, a vivec that 1/2 of my sweeps land for my magplar...this is what is killing my interest to log on.

I think I'm finally coming back. Played about 6-7 hours yesterday trying to get started with jewelry crafting, learning some of the balance changes that took place over the last 2 years, figuring out what I even have on my account anymore, what I want to craft or try to obtain, etc. Probably gonna mess around in PVE for a while before coming back to Cyrodiil. Controlling my character feels a bit clunky and awkward after taking such a long break, but I imagine it'll come back to me pretty quickly.

I don't know about that. If you view teabagging as a form of showboating, it kinda makes sense. If you destroy somebody in a 1v1, showboating is at least reasonable, while if you kill somebody in a 10v1, there is really no reason to showboat.

Or, if you view teabagging as a "punishment", as it seems some of us do, punishing somebody who you believe has done something wrong makes sense, while punishing somebody who did nothing wrong doesn't.

The whole thing may be a bit immature, but logically the idea of an "earned" or "unearned" teabag is sound.

Fair point. I come from a culture where showboating is indistinguishable from disrespect, and if people see you showboating, they beat your ass and tell you to knock it off. Other people may feel that winning at something confers the right to showboat, but my understanding of that is purely notional; on an emotional level, I don't get it at all.

I made a new year resolution not to t-bag anyone this year. I tried very hard not to but... I only lasted 6 or 7 months. I was doing great until some pre-made groups, who must have known me, kept t-bagging me in BG.

So it seems like the server has finally given up on tracking all our proc sets and is in a mood.
Good time to tell a @Lumsdenml story.

So you know, I was going around Cyrodiil, looking for some bang-bang when I come across a seemingly empty outpost called Nikel. Bored as I was, it seemed like a good idea to kill all the guards and sit and watch the anchor at the distance. Have I ever mentioned how outposts have the most beautiful views ever. Except Carmala. You can only see a *** bridge and a chasm in front of you. Whose genius idea was it to build an outpost there I will never understand.

So about 5 minutes later, all the guards are dead and I'm having a nice coffee sitting on Nikel porch. Few minutes later an EP comes out and sees me. I believe he was letting me have my alone time because he spent not more than a millisecond on the exposed (and now quite empty) porch and went inside the keep.

I take a sip of coffee and ponder over the design choices of Molag Bal when suddenly I hear a whip-like sound. To my surprise, I notice that I had lost 5k health and had spilled coffee all over my front. It turns out to be an EP spamming snipe from the first floor. Fortunately this was a mag toon, and I could respond in kind. Our back and forth lasted for about a minute or so until another EP showed up.

And like a shining knight riding into the sunset, I see Lums coming at me like I stepped on his grass or something. Fully aware of his reputation, I knocked him back with a flame reach; which he appropriately broke out of. At 75% health, I use my soul harvest, knowing fully well that this is going to be do or die. A few more dots later and he's in execute range. I press my impale button only to realize I'm on the wrong ***ing bar.

One bar swap and he's down. And so was I. The snipe spammer had finally got me.

I think we had a similar story

I came out of Nik and seen all the guards dead then see you. I'm guessing you were sipping your coffee. I attack, we fight a little and then I die. I came back out and killed you but I really think you let me and just wanted a free ride somewhere.

I’m very partial to outposts. Sejanus was my favorite by far. I miss it sometimes. But most of my Emily stories start with a a red vertical column over my head and end with a blue screen.

Went to Cyrodiil for the first time in a couple weeks today. It's been a long time since I got killed by several different attacks in less than a second. Murkmire PvP sucks.

I finally got back into Cyrodiil now that the Witches Festival is over, and the number of stamblades I see insta-gibbing others with bow attacks is pretty ridiculous. I had it happen to me a couple of times on a glass cannon build because I wasn't paying attention, and if you don't build to counter it there is zero counterplay. You hear the first hit and you're dead 1 second later. I've gotten used to these cheese builds over the years and have learned how to usually avoid dying to them, but it has to be incredibly discouraging for the low-CP players I see dying to this all around me.

On the subject of T-Bagging, I'm waiting for the keep & RSS NPC's to give it large... they have every other bloody skill!
