✭✭✭✭✭NoRecently cancelled and it’s not the big deal I thought it would be. For me it just came down to a feeling that I’m happy playing this game for a couple of hours a few times a week but I didn’t want to invest more time or money because while it has its merits, it’s generally not going in a direction that I fully agree with (PvP), and performance improvement isn’t going to happen. As for losing the perks, I had a lot of useless stuff in my bank that was never going to be good again. ZOS doesn’t make a habit of buffing old sets. Once I made bank space it was all good. Deconning stuff is a little annoying but I just build stacks in my crafters inventory and then sell it when I get enough. If I need more material I can just use that money to buy it. Besides I’ve got plenty saved up in the craft bag if and when I need it, but crafted sets have been pretty worthless since shacklrbreaker.2 -

I realized that with the frequency I buy crowns at this point, I might as well be getting a craft bag and extra space along with.
It wasn’t worth it when I started playing, and I still think it wouldn’t be if I didn’t want the crowns already. The extra gold and XP doesn’t make much of a difference for me.lvl50 Characters:

Since I have a 3-month recurring sub which only costs €11,99 I'm actually paying less than what a 1500 crown pack would cost me.

That said I've been thinking of cancelling. Between the lousy QC, really questionable combat changes, ZOS not listening to feedback (even on the PTS!), and the fact that I frequently don't receive the crowns for my plus subscription (I'm missing at least three months worth), I'm more than a little fed up with both the game and the company.2 -

Costume dyeing, craft bag, double storage - the advantages of eso+, but one can live without it easily. Especially with outfit system, several mules and operational knowledge of how to clean the inventory on a frequent basis. If only the subscribers would get much more for their money and the difference between subs and non-subs be greater (like in many MMOs). The incentive to actually pay is very low from ZOS's side, if practically they give everything for free or gold.
The payment system for subscribers is inconvenient. For people without credit card, have to pay only with PaySafeCard which charges the fees for all tickets, need to spend more money for tickets - cannot buy exactly the amount in tickets as it is the fee of ESO+, than the money that is left in PSC account is a waste.
Before the time when PayPal did not force us to confirm with credit card I was paying with PayPal, then it become impossible. Because of that issues and lack of interest to provide good solution for the payments, I prefer to stay non-sub.PC EU (PL): 14 characters. ESO player since 06.08.2015. Large part of why I quited ESO a year after launch was the inventory minigame moving stuff between alts.I wouldn't be able to play at all without it because of the paralyzing inventory issues that would result from unsubscribing.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.2 -

I buy the DLC I want and then I have it forever for a single price, I use less than 1,500 crowns a month, I don't need the craft bag or double bank space (If my materials were in the craft bag my bank would be mostly empty), and extra XP and a tiny gold boost is pointless to me.
The only sub benefits which do interest me are dying costumes and double furnishing space and I don't need access to them all the time. On two occasions I bought a 30 day sub to dye costumes (once when that feather first came out, once when I had 2 new characters and several new costumes) and at some point when I've used up all the furnishing space I've got I'll buy another 30 days to add 200 books to Mournoth Keep.
I'm happy to spend money on the game - I buy DLC and crowns whenever I want it - but only in return for things I actually want, not benefits I'm not going to use or some vague concept of "showing support" for a commercial product.
Although when they bring in the extra crowns a 6 month sub will be significantly cheaper than buying crown packs when they're not on sale: £5.45 per 1,000 crowns if you buy a 5,500 pack, £5.23 if you buy a 21,000 pack, or £4.24 per 1,000 crowns with a 6 month sub. So I might use that as a way of buying crowns.
