Is the only point of the event tickets to get the Indrik mount?

I have my 12 event tickets. If I want to collect more, I need to spend 10 on the feather that is 1/4 what I need to create the Indrik mount. I don't particularly care about the Indrik mount and I'm wondering if it would be better to just save the 12 event tickets and see if she sells anything besides the Indrik feathers during the next event. But obviously if the only thing she is going to sell for the next year are feathers and berries then I might as well get a feather.

Maybe ZOS will release different cool things in the future so people will have to spend more time on their events because they have already spent their existing ticket(s) on the first Indrik feather(s)? Or maybe it's just really all about the Indrik mount...? Any insight? What do you guys think?

Born, Bred & Made in Manchester UK, RIP 22 Angels. 22/05/2017

    PC-EU

The Place by Tony Walsh Please Read
This is the place in the North West of England

It’s ace, it’s the best and the songs that we sing

From the stands, from our bands set the whole planet shaking

Our inventions are legends! There’s nowt we can’t make and

So we make brilliant music. We make brilliant bands

We make goals that make souls leap from seats in the stands

And we make things from steel and we make things from cotton

And we make people laugh, take the mick summat rotten

And we make you at home and we make you feel welcome

And we make summat happen, we can’t seem to help it

And if you’re looking for history then yes, we’ve a wealth

But the Manchester way is to make it yourself

And make us a record, a new number one

And make us a brew while you’re up, love. Go on!

And make us feel proud that you’re winning the league

And make us sing louder and make us believe it

that this is the place that has helped shape the world

And that this the place where a Manchester girl

Name of Emmeline Pankhurst from the streets of Moss Side

Led a Suffragette City with sisterhood pride

And this is the place with appliance of science

We’re on it, atomic, we strut with defiance

In the face of a challenge we always stand tall

Mancunians in union delivered it all

Such as housing and libraries, and health, education

And unions and co-ops, the first railway station

So we’re sorry! Bear with us! We invented commuters!

But we hope you forgive us – we invented computers!

And this is the place Henry Royce strolled with Rolls

And we’ve rocked and we’ve rolled with our own Northern Soul

And so this is the place to do business, then dance

Where go-getters and goal setters know they’ve a chance

And this is the place where we first played as kids

And me Mam lived and died here, she loved it she did

And this is the place where our folks came to work

Where they struggled in puddles, they hurt in the dirt

And they built us a city. They built us these towns

And they coughed on the cobbles to the deafening sound

Of the steaming machines and the screaming of slaves

They were scheming for greatness, they dreamed to their graves

And they left us a spirit, they left us a vibe

The Mancunian Way to survive and to thrive

And to work and to build, to connect and create and

Greater Manchester’s greatness is keeping it great

And so this is the place now we’ve kids of our own

Some are born here, some drawn here but we all call it home

And they’ve covered the cobbles, but they’ll never defeat

All the dreamers and schemers who still teem through these streets

Because this is a place that has been through some hard times

Oppressions, recessions, depressions and dark times

But we keep fighting back with Greater Manchester spirit

Northern grit, northern wit in Greater Manchester’s lyrics

And there’s hard times again in these streets of our city

But we won’t take defeat and we don’t want your pity

Because this a place where we stand strong together

With a smile on our face, Mancunians Forever

And we’ve got this* as the place where a team with a dream (*Forever Manchester)

Can get funding and something to help with their scheme

Because this is the place that understands your grand plans

We don’t do No Can Do, we just stress Yes We Can!

Forever Manchester’s a charity for people round ‘ere

You can fundraise, donate. You can be a volunteer

You can live local, give local. We can honestly say

We do charity differently, that Mancunian Way

And we fund local kids, and we fund local teams

We support local dreamers to work for their dreams

We support local groups and the great work they do

So can you …help us help… local people like you?

Because this is the place in our hearts, in our homes

Because this is the place that’s a part of our bones

‘Cos Greater Manchester gives us such strength from the fact

That this is the place. We should give something back.

Always remember. Never forget. Forever Manchester.

7 toons, played since beta and i've never done a single clockwork city daily I dont like the zone. How does this work for the event? Do you just need 1 daily to get the 2 event tickets or all 4?

it says Complete the zone’s daily quests but how many is that and where do u get them all, and do world bosses count???

So far, yes. Though feathers can also count as sweepstakes entries if you are eligible.

    In the future? Who knows.

I would recommend grabbing the world boss daily. There are two different quests and they both involve some activities around the world boss area and then defeating the world boss.

However, if you have progressed deep enough in the Clockwork City main quest to unlock the Crow daily, it is by far faster. You just need to turn in a rotating set of items (ornate armor, dishes, toys, remains of slaughtered creatures). These items can be collected and stored in bulk beforehand so that you can complete the quest immediately after you receive.

The other two daily quests for harvesting and for the delves take more time than the world boss daily but they do not require main quest progress like the Crow daily.

How far into the CWC main quest is the Crow daily?

I have one character working on the CWC main quest, currently, but I've only just completed the quest with the lamps.

I believe the two-stage process of tickets getting feathers getting the mount, is to separate the tickets from the mount, and let them count for other rewards. The feathers are only for Indrik, but the tickets aren't tied to that. The carry-over limit is another matter, probably a hedge against people using tickets instead of Crowns.

This is total speculation, but I'm guessing the harvest daily and crow daily won't award tickets. I think they'll be awarded for the daily delve and daily boss quests. I'm also guessing that it'll be the same for thieves guild/dark brotherhood where the guild jobs and daily contracts don't give tickets but the daily heist, Rye's Reacquisitons quest, and daily sacrament do (they did say 3 per day for the thieves/db event didn't they?).

Scratch the thieves guild/dark brotherhood stuff, that's not an event that rewards event tickets. I really do hope the tickets are rewarded for any daily we choose to do though. The article does say "you will receive two Event Tickets from the first daily quest you complete each day".

The other event is the Undaunted Celebration Event that rewards 3 tickets per day. I would have guessed one for each daily pledges, but the article says "you will receive three Event Tickets from the final boss of the first dungeon you complete".

The main point of event tickets is so you can equip your Jester personality and skip to the vendor while singing Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket song.

    Have a read of this

Forbes doesn't corroborate, fact-check, or vet their contributors. That's why you get serious inaccuracies like "If you don’t own or have access to the Clockwork City DLC, you can’t participate in the event and can’t earn the Nascent Indrik. Game over before it even starts."

The CWC quests are going to be a nightmare to do. I remember doing the quests for the anniversary boxes and because we were all fighting over very limited resources it took forever to do the quests. If they are going to add CWC dailies to events then they need to seriously reduce the respawn time of nodes and such to like 10 seconds.

Then skip the harvester quest. You receive your tickets from the first daily you submit each day. Subsequent dailies turned in on the same day do not reward tickets. Complete any of the other three dailies if all you want are the tickets.

TY. I forgot PTS players had already tested this. Really glad for this since I have a character parked next to the crow that hands in whatever is asked for every day. Takes all of 10 seconds.

For now it is only for Indrik mount & its "forms" (you will be able to transform this mount appearance). I am pretty sure that there will be different mounts in the future. In Murkmire trailer at 1:01 you can see a potential new mount with 3 different appearances:

This is by far the best approach. The one for the world bosses from the Clockwork Coordinator is a good choice, since you don't need to do any story (the ones for delves require you to complete the delve quests), steal particular items (like when the crows want stolen games, grooming implements, or eating utensils, etc) or fight with others for scarce nodes - I particularly loathe the one for herbalist satchels, it feels like there's only a dozen in the whole map. And there's likely going to be a lot of lot people killing those bosses so it should be a short wait for the most part.

It's actually not that bad. Considering you only need 40 Tickets, you actually have an extra 14 days in which you do not need to log in.

There is a total of 54 days which events will be running between Oct 18th - Jan 2nd. And there are gaps in between the events which you don't need to log in to get a ticket.

On top of that, it is designed so if you missed a feather, you can get the one you missed, even if that particular event has ended.

And if you are pressed for time, you only need to log in on a character, and kill a single named Boss. Could be a simple Delve boss, which would take no longer than 5 minutes once logged in. To make this super easy, just have a character you don't play often parked outside of a Delve to make it even easier.

Wow what a whiney article. Collecting the feathers is a breeze. You just need to play the game. I see the mount as a reward for players who actually play the game and have subbed or bought the dlc. No one is "forcing" players to do anything.

I'm pretty sure those are going to be a new set of crown crate apex mounts. There were 5 data mined - a horse, senche, wolf, bear and camel all in the same style - and whenever that's happened previously they've been apex mounts.

    Good call = D

Wasn't sure how long your character will remain inside after X amount of time not logged in.

I personally use Stonefalls for a quick World Boss (The Netch). Super easy to solo, and can park right there. Log in, Kill, Then go on to w/e else I want to do that day.

Previous events take lesser effort and gives a better looking mount with a decent vfx, there's also the Nix-ox mount that is totally unique and all you need is to have morrowind. Imo, I don't mind paying especially for DLC/Chapters that includes these kind of free stuffs because it's more efficient than spending all the time for this kind of event that wastes time & electric bills.

I'm just saying that for all these efforts, we should be getting a radiant/apex quality instead of this crap but what do we get? A mount reskin that will obviously use the same animation as horses that takes about 4 months to unlock. However, we're still lucky that ZOS didn't milk us for Indrik mount because it was largely requested by the community.

Sadly, as a completionist I have no choice but to comply.

If you're paying for it then it's not "free stuffs", it's included in what you paid. You may have been willing to pay the same price even if it wasn't included, but that's not the same as getting something free.

Also you say you'd prefer to buy it, then say we're lucky they're not 'milking us' for it. Which is it? Is it better to buy it or good that it's free?

Personally I like this method. I've been wanting the dawnwood indrik since it was first datamined and I was prepared to buy it as long as it wasn't too expensive, but I much prefer getting things by playing the game. Admittedly the method they used is slow, but I don't mind that. I was worried that missing events, or even parts of events, would make it impossible to get it later, but now we know that's not an issue I'm happy.

The Impresario is not located inside of DLC content, event tickets are a generic currency that can be applied to any item in The Impresario, and past event feathers will be available during the most current event.

And the official Twitter account confirmed yesterday that there will be an ESO+ trial during the Clockwork Celebration so they don't intend to shut anyone out anyway.
