What to do if game time cards are not sold in my area?

If I do not wish to set my credit card up for a recurring payment plan, due to not automating payments of any kind through the credit card, how do I arrange for game time cards to be sold here?
ie: am I expected to go to wal-mart and convince the local manager to stock the cards?

dysphorya✭✭✭There are a couple of other threads started by others of us in the same situation. Amazon is showing expected ship times of 2-5 weeks (!) and another player posted that a retail clerk had checked for him and provided an expected in-store date of 04/28 (!).
I'm afraid we may have a long wait before we have access to game time cards.

dysphorya✭✭✭I've been reading some of the other threads to see what information is being posted (since it seems to be spread out instead of in a single announcement). In the "Amazon/Zenimax Dropped the Ball" thread, a ZOS administrator has confirmed that we won't lose any of our preorder bonuses if we're stuck waiting for game time cards.
I also received an encouraging support response to the same effect -- if the main game registration code hasn't been redeemed (and obviously can't be, since the game time card subscription method isn't entered yet), the game and Explorer's Pack will remain on standby and can be redeemed at any time in the future.
Zenimax has its hands full with a lot right now so I haven't asked the question officially, but I suppose it's possible that the 30 free days also won't start until the main game registration code is redeemed. If that's true, it means we just sit tight and wait for game time cards. Once all of us get them and enter them with the main game registration code, maybe that's the point that the clock starts ticking on the 30 free days.

Deluged✭✭I pre-purchased digital copy. 5 day head start. Entered all the code's I had, just the one main one I guess. Now I can't log in. Why? I imagine that its because I don't use CC's, and I don't have a game card. What's the point of 30 days free trial if I can't use it without paying for a month???
Seem a under handed to me.
I should be able to play out my 30 days, THEN be required to sort out further billing. Come on, I'm pretty disappointed already. I was a long term beta tester, bought the game, and now I can't play it, because 30 days free, doesn't really mean 30 days free.
