IMO they already care too much about PvP combat balance. Majority of "serious PvPers" can't even complete a simple dungeon like vet Bloodroot Forge or vet Scalecaller, or need to be carried if they go into those dungeons; in fact they often don't even own the dlc or ESO+ (they wait for the helm to be on the golden). Yet these same players regularly call for nerfs based on their PvP experiences without regard or consideration for PvE.
The self-aggrandizing title of "Serious PvPer" means to me someone who for the most part only PvPs and thinks themselves above others who play PvE. It's fine and good to think highly of yourself but if your experience in the game is so lopsided then you really have no grounds to think yourself superior. In addition, if you don't spend money on the game then why should your voice be heard? "Money talks"
First of all your whole post is based on assumption's !
second : its not like anyone got the game for free, we all payed money for it ! so we are all paying costumers
And you will still be able to play pve as you did before the murkmire patch., do the same damage as you did!
but this is a game breaking feature.
but the enchants also wil now also proc with weapon skill dots, thats not normal
even thought i play mostly pve, i still enjoy an occasional BG game for the daily's and if i want some action.
and this will just ruin the fun imo. everyone and there mother will run this build to play pvp and i think it will ruin the game for most occasional players who are not gonna change there char to do some pvp

So many things wrong with this post, hope you're trolling.
PvPers have to PvE for plenty of reasons. In addition, the shield nerf is PvE related, as was posted by Gina I believe, and PvEers are still in denial.
And PvE is just memorization, PvP, you play a different game every day. Not to mention I see plenty of PvPers with Flawless Conqueror and other PvE titles.
Have a good day

Look, don't try to tell me about this current discussion because I am one of the few who started it on the pts forum, and have been advocating for DW enchants and traits to be nerfed long before the idea ever even crossed your mind, for parity with 2h.
I play PvA and raised this issue on pts forum. Clearly it needs to be fixed, bit in the right way not in some way that a clueless "serious PvPer" proposes.Have you noticed the 27k threads by casuals getting all excited about fluffy mount giveaways, event tickets and free houses? I guess critable shields in a pve change.
In before Torug’s gets nerfed for “balance” 😒
Ugh
Torug's isn't the problem. Enchants aren't the problem. Infused isn't the problem. The way these things are implemented is the problem.
We all know what that means... Torug's, Infused, and Enchants are all about to be nerfed into the ****ing dirt.
Stuff like this really makes me wonder if I like the game more, or less, as time goes on. It's honestly hard to tell anymore.

The change they made in how enchants are proc'd is what caused the issue. It will be interesting to see how zos decides to fix it. The correct answer is to revert the change. What they will probably do is something seemingly random that no one would want.

Sometimes i wish Activision hadn't ruined WoW. ESO is a much better game at the moment, but Blizzard would hotfix broken stuff like this within hours. We're probably gonna have to put up with the torug's, dual wield, broken meta for the next 3 months.
The saddest part is that even Alcast made a video about it, and they still didn't fix it before release.

Yep, quoted from Gina's post, no mention of PvP there:
"This change makes damage shields function more consistently with the rest of the game’s mechanics."

Exactly what I'm afraid of. But at this point, I expect nothing less.
Still not looking forward to all my Torug's tank gear and Infused weapons being ruined, though. I'll be thoroughly surprised if ZOS handles this without obscene amounts of collateral damage.
The_Brosteen wrote: »This is such a great example of zos coming up with a change that isn't completely thought through and the playerbase immediately sees a way how a certain build could basically abuse the change.
When they put the note in on how enchancts would proc literally my first thought was "well torugs is gonna be the new world cheese". I didnt think it'd be this bad though.

I have decided to share what just broke pvp in order to make everyone run it until ZOS fixes it.
Been running Trougs pact medium and heavy in pvp the last few days, you can mix it with viper and skoria for max cheese glass build, or with fury or seventh legion and blood spawn or troll kings for good sustain.
I use a infused vma axe on the back bar, as the stampede rush leaves a slow and a dot on the target that proc my enchant.
Front bar I have an infused axe and a infused dagger and use rending slashes, that will proc my enchants to.
Okey watch this.
My backbar has a 5350 damage shock enchant as it proc the extra damage off balance and so on .... every 1 sec
On my front bar I slot a disease enchant for ca 4500 and major defile and a ca 2500 oblivion damage enchant as it go through all shields.... every 1 sec.
So fare I have only run in to 1 class that can handle that kind of dots and that is a Templar as they can purge it.
Every other person I have fought in pvp died to enchants and bleeds only, I didn’t even need to use other skills, just stamped in that leaves a dot, then rending slashes and step back and watch people melt no matter how many heals or shields they throw out..
This needs a major chance and fast as pvp will die in days if this goes on... so I herby call for everyone to abuse it so hard that it breaks the game to a point where ZOS will have to change it if they want their game to be playable.
Kind regards Malleus.

The bolded part. So basically PvP wasn't broken...until you decide to create a fake atmosphere of people over-using this because YOU think it's bad, then sit back and justify your claims.
That doesn't sound like PvP is broken. It sounds like you just want to create another problem in PvP.
