The feathers we collect for the pet. Do we loose them if not cashed in?

Not sure how this works. Sorry I don't remember the proper names they are called. So spelling mistakes will be made. So to get the Ideruck pet we need to collect a certain number of feathers. Or what ever it is we need to collect. Please someone tell me the correct names. I will not be able to collect all of the allotment we are allowed. So what happens? Do we keep them for the next event? Are the lost? I don't understand. Should I stop trying to get them because they will just be lost, or keep doing it and save them for the next time?

you need to get 4 feathers for the indrik mount, and to get each feather you need to get 10 event tickets. these are granted based on the various events between witches now, and new life at the end of the year. in witches, your first dremora skull from killing a boss each day, will get you an event ticket. note that you can only hold a limited amount of tickets in your inventory under the currency tab. it indicates that you can hold a max of 12 tickets. to continue earning tickets so that you can continue to buy feathers, you may want to buy a feather when you get to 10 tickets, and resume. This is similar to the way that transmute gems are limited, and you can only hold 200 max at a time. the other events each handle tickets in a different way, with new life, for instance, granting a ticket, not for killing bosses, but for the first new life quest you do each day during that event. In general, you'll have an opportunity to get a ticket a day.

as far as the indrik mount, there's no way for us to know if or when ZOS will have this event again, so there's no way to know if it's worth continuing if you know you're not going to succeed this time, because there may or may not be a next time for the indrik mount. as far as the tickets are concerned, it's conceivable that ZOS may use them for something else down the road, since they are categorized as currency.

sorry if this doesn't help you decide, but then again, it may.

PS: i just noticed you referenced the Indrik as a pet. It isn't a pet, but it is in fact, a mount that you can ride...just FYI

Currency is currency. If we miss the indrik for some reason, there will likely be something else to use tickets on later. Now, whether it will be something I personally want (like, or similar to, the indrik mount) is another question.

I'm just really happy I didn't lose several days this event.

I wonder, if we have 12 event tickets, will it tell us that we've reached 12 and can turn them in, or do we have to keep checking the currency tab every single day once we're near that number?
    I guess I'll find out.

Eh, I add one to Sha's count on my spreadsheet every day. When I have 10, I'll know it, and go get my feather.

I actually check the currency tab every time I'm trying to get a new ticket for the day. Closed a dolmen, check tab. Still 5/10. Helped kill WB, check tab. 6/10, now I can go to work LOL.

(Basically, I'm counting everyday anyway so I don't need to track it specially.)

Oh thank you so much. Yes this does indeed help. I didn't know about we can only collect 12 tickets. You explained it so nice and easy, I finally understand. Greatly appreciate it.

Alternatively, you can wait ~6 moths - a year from now, when they'll let you just buy an Indrik mount from the Crown Store.

10 tickets to get a feather. My understanding is you can get the feather anytime, so if you got 8 tickets this event, getting 2 more in the next event you can buy the first feather, and then get 10 more tickets for the next feather.

    https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/54935
Every time a new in-game event starts, you’ll be able to purchase the new Indrik Feather AND any previous feathers. You are not locked out of purchasing feathers from previous events, so if you weren’t able to collect enough Event Tickets previously, you always have a chance to catch up.

Here is the answer to your question:

1.) Zenimax has introduced a new Mount: Indrik

2.) The Indrik Mount can be purchased with four unique Indrik Feathers

3.) The Indrik Feathers are acquired in-game. They are purchased with Event Tickets. Each Feather costs 10 Tickets.

4.) There is a new NPC - The Impressario - who sells the Indrik Feathers.

5.) Event Tickets and Indrik Feathers are currencies.
    a) They cannot be lost.
    b) You may hold 12 Tickets.
    c) There is no reason to hold more than 12, since as soon as you reach 10, you may purchase the unique Feather for that Event and begin to accumulate Tickets towards the next Event.
    d) It is impossible to 'lose out', as long as you participate in Events.

6.) There are three more Events scheduled for this year:
    Clockwork City Celebration
    Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood Celebration
    New Life Festival

7.) Each of the Events listed above will provide opportunities to earn additional Tickets. Each Event will also introduce a new, unique Indrik Feather. Feathers from prior Events will still be available to purchase.

8.) Once you have acquired the four Unique Indrik Feathers from Witches Festival, Clockwork City, Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood, and New Life Festival Events, the Indrik Mount will be unlocked on your account.

9.) After you have unlocked your mount, Events in 2019 will enable to you customize your Indrik Mount to one of three 'Evolved" appearances. For those future Events, your Tickets will be used to purchase the upgrade materials for the Indrik 'Evolved' appearance your prefer.

    That's it.

@therift: awesome and I seriously mean it. I was trying to formulate a cogent post, but had so much else going on here (eh, husband with the tv at mega volume for the world series, daughter on the phone about stuff, dog not happy about the temp folks at cousin's place down below us.... yeah, don't ask...) that I just wasn't getting it together.

    You GO, and thanks!

[Edit for stupid typo - chalk it up to the crap going on right now I guess!]

Loosen them where? How tight do you have them? What are you using to tighten them? Like a money clip, but for tickets? OH...you mean lose...

    Many thanks!

My guilds have over 1600 active members. I've done my best to explain how the Indrik Mount may be obtained to hundreds of guildies. Even with all the practice in PS4 text chat, it took 2-3 drafts to get the post down, and even so, it needs improvement.

I'm sure by Midyear Mayhem, we'll all be thoroughly versed in the Event tickets, Indrik Mount, and whatever else Zenimax has in the pipeline for this new Event format. Until then... it's as confusing as a long chat with Sheogorath

Oh so true! Just.... spare me from Sheo. Please and thanks. Last interaction with him was MannyGT's mod for Skyrim.... I swear, if I had realized I had to endure a half hour (okay, that's an exaggeration - but it FELT like it!) of crap from Sheo.... I'd never have played it.

Well... I do still play it. I just go on to something else before I have to mess with Sheo now.

Two things to keep in mind:

    1) Zenimax loaded six Events during the last PTS cycle for players to test acquiring Tickets and purchasing Feathers for each of the six tested Event formats.

    2) I don't recall exactly how many Tickets were available for the six tested Events, but the number, I believe, was well in excess of the number required to unlock and fully Evolve and Indrik Mount.

This suggests to me that Zenimax (1) expects most players to fully Evolve their Indrik Mounts by the end of Midyear Mayhem 2019, which was one of the six Events tested, and that (2) the Indrik Mount would be able to be acquired by players who purchase the game at any point in the future.

So if you miss days or miss Events entirely, the worst that happens is postponing the earliest date in which you may unlock and then Evolve your Indrik Mount.

I've been in CWC a bit, just to look around (well, also to get to the Fort Brass crafted stuff). I didn't see a whole lot of anything combat-wise, except the mobs inside the Reactor before you get to the crafting area. That wasn't pvp - at least I didn't get flagged.

Outside the Brass Fortress, I've only seen normal mobs - get too close, they aggro, you kill them.

Only Cyrodiil and Imperial City are PvP areas. Clockwork City is PvE like everywhere else, and continues the Daedric plot from Morrowind which culminates in Summerset.

I *think* I'm going to have to set up a second account just to run the game the way it was supposed to work. Seriously.... it's SO FREAKING ANNOYING that you have to micromanage the game just to play it from day one to day now.

The CWC storyline flows from the Morrowind storyline, but the connection is loose. I found Clockwork City to be a well-written storyline, and it appears the artists were permitted to indulge their creativity. It is an impressive DLC.
