It doesn't work like that. Though we occasionally see overt cheaters captured in videos -- often low cp accounts which may be burners -- most are very subtle about it to avoid suspicion because the primary motive is usually status IMO. It has to be plausibly deniable or the purpose of cheating is defeated.this is partially why i always felt that they needed vet cyrodill so if you cant stop guys from cheating you can use their artificial success against them and make them segregate themselves. I imagine they gain points at 100 times a regular player so it wouldnt be long before they take care of themselves.

I also want to add that no one should presume another player is cheating without evidence. The vast majority of players accused of cheating are not. In every game, the best players are often accused of cheating.

just because something is capable within the games current mechanics doesnt mean ***. I know 2 people who were banned after the launch of the champion system for making builds that were unkillable within the system, after they reported it. ZoS tends to ban you harder if you report something and then do it anyway.

Oh imagine Zo$ actually looking at reports.
Would be a good day indeed.
I know multiple players that have been banned for "cheating". (AKA a set number of reports from uninformed players)
If i find a bug, i record and report it as accurately as i can, then wait 2 patch cycles. if it hasnt been fixed by then i enjoy the most out of it.
I shouldn't be getting restricted by incompetence of Zo$.
the funnier part is people trying to negate/hide its existence

There is a simple reason why they do it... they are CE users.
It's been a problem for a long time... you have a constant and constant presence of those that wish to deny it works, all from the same source.
There was someone that posted private conversations of this group of players a long while back. They are all in on it, they are all in the same guild(s) and they know exactly what is being done (and they have been doing it for years now).
I'll just add that some of the "competitive" pvp guilds/groups that do a lot of forum smack talking are absolutely CE users (to varying degrees).
They even brag about their inside man now if you peruse their posts, as they got one into the player rep program (no names!)
ZOS did not address it, they just made it so these "great" "awesome" players are cannon fodder for 3 days after a major patch and then go back to "augmented mode". Take a good luck at the deniers and to who they respond in defense... They are all connected in game, as they have been for some time.

why would anyone use CE and get banned for it. if you can do so many more even funnier things without CE^^
Apparently you aren't quite the hacker you think you are ...PuddingZebra wrote: »Sigh. it's exactly this what makes me sad. People STILL thinking you can do *** with CE nowadays. have you EVER even CONSIDERED looking into it? no? exactly...
