Sometimes being an adult, with real life responsibilities, means you can't always do everything you want. And that comes with the realization that noone owes you anything. This is a video game, and real life takes precedent. Oh well.

Do you really not want the situation to improve? People pointing out problems is how things improve. Help me understand your fatalistic attitude. I'm paraphrasing here: "this is the way it is, deal with it, crappy coding builds character".

I don't think there is a situation here that needs improvement. People have survived the life of the game with the same exact cooldown on daily dungeons, and the life of battle grounds with the same cooldown, the life of mount training.. It's the same cooldown.

This event is perfect if you live off the state or bank of mummy n daddy and sit on your fat arse all day doing nothing but play games.
Those who have that dirty word a "Job" or Family commitments, are proper screwed over.

I wish the people who would come her tom comment "how hard is it to X" would read the multitudes who have already commented saying "it's hard because of our jobs and kids and life". It's great that you can play the same time every day. Not everyone can.
"How hard is it to" have all quest and item cooldowns reset at the same time each day, like GMT? C'mon, ZOS, enough with the horrible fragmentation / cooldown creep.
It's so great that you quoted the second part of my comment about understanding it being frustrating for those who can't play at the same time and then completely ignored it. But at the same time, you missed the point where my comment was directed at people who track the timer down to the minute so that they can get the skulls immediately on cooldown. You know, the people that seem to have the time to play the game whenever they want.
Also, everyone seems to expect ZOS to contact them and work out their schedules so that everything works out perfectly for them. Sometimes being an adult, with real life responsibilities, means you can't always do everything you want. And that comes with the realization that noone owes you anything. and YOU are missing the point where the solution is RIGHT. IN FRONT. OF. YOU. AND. ZOS. and doesn't require ANYONE to adjust to anyone else's schedule. did you know.. that right now. right this day.. people can "gasp" do pledges. and crafting dailies - on their own schedule? whenever they have a free moment during the day and STILL be able to get rewards the next day at a different free oment they may have? because pledges and crafting dailies and a whole slew of other dailies IN ESO. reset once a day. so that its convenient for EVERYONE.
why. WHY have a 20 hour cooldown when you already have a perfect system in place that doesn't require trying to please different people with different schedules in different ways becasue it works for EVERYONE ALREADY? and WHY. WHY defend in any way, shape or form this 20 hour cooldown nonsense?

I wouldn't say I am missing the point. I just don't see the point as valid. The 20hr cooldown is a mechanic that already exists in game. So it's not like they choose to just implement this for this event. And that system works fine for people now. The problem I do see is a vocal minority of players on the forums thinking they are most of the player base and that their problems deserve immediate results. When in fact, they are a small minority of players, and for most players, the cooldown system works just fine.

hmmmmm....starting today, i'm having the same issue with WB Dremora skulls...I've gone back & forth with support a couple times, and I'm still not convinced that they understand my issue. They keep telling me how it works, and I have to reply to them that, yeah I understood from the beginning that that's how it's supposed to work, but that's not how it is working...<sigh>
^ This
So i'm not the only one to have this problem, i simply didn't get a single yellow dremora skull in public dungeons ... and I ran many of them yesterday and the day before.

@OrdoHermetica SAME HERE!! Are you on PS4 NA? Is this a ZOS bug? I wrote down all my times from yesterday and got every other Dremora skull without a problem. Imagine my surprise when I killed that first public dungeon boss and didn't see the yellow skull. Uh... what? I'm positive I was supposed to get one. I killed a couple more and even tried it in another public dungeon later. Nope. I did not get a public dungeon skull today.
Nope, PC/NA. So, yeah, probably a ZOS bug if it's happening cross-platform. Also, it appears as though the Gold Coast Delves count as Public Dungeon bosses as far as the timer goes, but DON'T drop Public Dungeon Skulls, so... that's cool, too.
