At the very least, I always thought we should have had a scrap of lore or something in Coldharbor that says what happened to him. He didn't die, after all. He just went to Coldharbor, where a lot of others are at, and Gwendis mentioned that Molag Bal wanted to use him for something.
That seems like the perfect setup for an attempted rescue and then just nothing....2 -

Its going to be todrag him back to face judgment after turning the Montclairs into vampires, utterly failing to give a damn what happened to the bloodcursed villagers right on his castle's doorstep, allowing the rise of Reezal-Jul due to gross incompetence, and turning over a powerful artifact to Molag Bal rather than destroying it as planned.5 -

✭✭✭✭✭I liked that storyline. It's the one time I actually kept the weapon I was given as a thank you instead of deconstructing it.
I would like to find out what happened to him. Even though in a sense he died it did seem kind of unfinished. I mean technically he was already dead at the start so that aspect may not mean much. And we know from other characters, including the player character, that being sent to Coldharbour even via being killed doesn't necessarily mean you can't come back.
I suppose it will come down to whether anyone at ZOS wants to use him in a later storyline, and whether it would make sense to do so. ✭I found it funny that so many random NPCs wound up in Coldharbour, but the one NPC who actually ended up there at the end of their quest line wasn't there...
I'm hoping he does come back/we get a rescue mission, it does seem a little unresolved at present. I'm assuming the relic detonated in Coldharbour as part of the deal but maybe it didn't? What were the conditions of the deal? What has Molag got him doing in Coldharbour, is he alive?
