Didn't get Dremora Motif Plunder Skull

Did first boss at normal Maelstorm Arena and I did not get Dremora Style Motif

thought its 100% chance :

"In addition to regular Plunder Skulls, during the event, you can also acquire the brand-new Dremora Plunder Skulls. These devilish new rewards will be the first Plunder Skull drop you receive for each type of boss each day. A Dremora Plunder Skull contains all the same items found in a regular Plunder Skull, but it is also guaranteed to have a new Dremora Motif page based on the type of boss you defeated. "

    It’s for only the final boss in each type of content.

    A dev comment clarified it in the discussion thread. It's final bosses only.

    It is written on the page, just not clearly. Like you have what you wrote there - but it's said somewqhere that it's only last boss. Although I'm not sure if that's clarified on website or forums.

    Anyway, you're right to be confused - but it only drops from last boss.

    Edit: There's one thing you gotta learn about ESO/Zenimax: Communication is rarely crystal clear, and there's more inconsistencies than consistencies. But this game's still OP. :3

    Can confirm, I had it from last maelstorm boss (on normal), ZOS should change it on news info not here onforum... some players are not on it at all...

    Did you really think they would give it to you for the 1st MA boss? People would just farm the hell out of the 1st boss and not finish the content.

    It's only from the final boss, but can be any difficulty.

    Got a dremora skull from public dungeon boss, but not from a world boss.

    New content buggy. Nothing to see here.

    It states quite clearly now on the website news page that the drops are from "Final Dungeon Bosses" and "Final Trial Bosses".

    just do normal dungons, I got 4 plus the one special one doing spindleclutch random normal as a level 157 took all of 10 min

    Yes, this should be changed/fixed. As the list does not clarify this and we shouldn't have to comb through dev discussions for the facts when they post/send out 'advertisements'. It specifically says "last boss" on a couple items on the list, but not on Arenas.

    And as I quoted from main news page it states Arena Boses not 1 final boss, now they changed that, finally about time :)

    Why would I do grind same activity when you can get only 2 new motifs from normal dungs... on top of that you can get Dremora plunder skull drop 1/ day/activity/toon

    They wouldn't... simply because Arenas give 2 different motifs only

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
    I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    Uhm, no. Each stage has a boss... however before they changed it, it was said on the news that each of the arena boss would give Dremora skull not just the final one.

    I will admit that I was a tiny bit hopeful. But hey, normal MA with the XP buff is quite nice. And I have a couple of characters that could use the achievement.

    Aren't those two in the same category? So you would get one from the first of the two you killed, but not the second?

    Thanks for starting this thread. I come here confused over the same thing. It says the final dungeon boss but I understood it to mean any arena boss. Also, thanks to all those who clarified.
