I am having the same problem. Support hasn't been answering any tickets or emails. The few helpful posts on this page suggested some methods but it still hasn't fixed this issue. Hopefully ESO gets it together eventually. This game has a lot of potential but they have to do better with support on helping customers and they still have a lot of bugs to fix.I am getting a refund too, hopefully, still waiting for them to confirm. I've not been able to get past any load screen to character creation or beyond.
Technically if there was a problem like that then perhaps you have to set rules in your security software to allow it, if the security software is quite secure. Disabling it for a second to see if that is the problem could be useful, just so if anything you can rule out the security software as the problem.Master_Skinner wrote: »Did you try temporarily disabling your Anti-Virus Software?
If I have to disable anti-virus software to play a game, the game is deleted, and I go for a refund.
In 2014, there is no valid reason to build a game that requires the disabling of security software to play.
I've logged maybe around 150-200 hours and those hours could have been spent on another worthwhile product. If you read this and are contemplating buying this game, it's nothing like an Elder Scrolls title. I never felt immersed. Basically, this is a dumbed down game for children. Every quest has a waypoint/pin, the so-called "puzzles" are already completed and you need to go and press a button on the pieces, and the endgame content is more of the brainless quests. PVP or AvA is horrible, there is no cooperation(lack of VOIP/better grouping system), the population level indicators are to simple(causing players to be unaware to how many actually play on that campaign). The NPC's are way too easy to kill. To top it off, this game is played off as being"class-less" and you can supposedly play however you want but that is not true. The title is just a gimmick, this is not an Elder Scrolls title.

People need to understand, this is the world of Microsoft. A glue that holds all sorts of various combinations of hardware together. Literally millions of combinations, sadly yes some people will have problems
I'm not sure how the Mac Community are doing, but in order to have the best guarantee of compatibility, they would need to buy a product where hardware and OS is regimented for minimal problems AKA Apple
Then get bombarded with "Mac's aren't for gaming ... yadda yadda"
