Oh man. I had a guy in a guild a while back begging for three grand. I sent him five. Thought he was a brand new player. The guild was catered to new players. Then he said thanks I can reset my CP now. 🤦‍♂️ What CP level player doesn’t have 3000 gold? Guess it’s my fault I was “misled”. I should not have assumed. He just didn’t mention it was to reset CP on a new alt. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah.. I’m probably one of them lol. I’m not new, but I still have a habit of sometimes starting my rotation on other players in overland or pub dungeons/delves. Confuse them with an enemy NPC. In my defense, I’m a magsorc so I’m at a long range when I start the attack. It’s a dude standing there looking all enemy NPC like... yeah, I feel a little embarassed when the player slowly turns around and looks at me. I’ve usually dropped two AOEs and sent a curse and a light attack before I realize I’m not locked on a target. Yeah I have the glows turned on and all the other cues it’s not an enemy are there. But in the heat of the moment...
