@Daus , if such change is made, then it's necessary to enable enchantments of same type to stack and have separate cooldown. Because 2H/staff/bow will be able to slot fully powered weapon damage glyph, but DW won't be able to have two halved weapon damage enchants for same effect.

As for metaphor, it's really simple - while PvP is trying to mutilate the freshly streamlined work of enchants, you're trying to convince me that it's all good because there are weird workarounds which (you assure me) would work the same.
