I'm asking because I leave for vacation in 10 days and will be gone till the end of the month. All this time I've been kicking myself for buying the game early instead of holding off till I get back. Sadly, some of the preorder benefits were too juicy to ignore.

But now that we need to activate this free time, could I just wait till the end of the month to choose a subscription? Or is this free time going to expire on me?
