With the Warden only being 1k in damage behind the stamblade I don't think it's very realistic to bring a stamblade over a stam warden in the trial scene anymore. It's just not big enough of a difference to justify the difference in difficulty. And when I say "difficulty" I'm talking about the reliability of getting 3 spectral bow procs consistency in an optimal rotation.

Nor should it be.
Top groups want top DPS, which excludes certain classes entirely. If the DPS is balanced, then you can bring your stamblade if you want, and it won't be a loss.

✭✭Top tier trial guilds will still prefer stamblades, even if the difference in DPS is not as big as before. No self-respecting endgame PvE guild will be like, 'ooh stamblade is so hard so play we should just bring in wardens instead and lose DPS' -_-7 -

I'm not screaming stamblades are dead or that woe is me nonsense. This is more of a discussion than anything about the potential direction of the trial scene. It just appears to me that ZOS isn't learning from the past when StamDKs were slightly weaker than stamblades, but due to the difference in difficulty they were chosen over stamblades.0 -

But in all seriousness this build must be squishy right? I PUG a lot and just the thought of me going in to a vetDLC dungeon without shields or a selfheal already makes me cringe. Maybe sorcerer spoiled me?

A meta I will like a lot, I will not complain one bit if the meta shifts towards magplars and stamdens.. since it’s very likely so due to magplars being so close behind magblades and will likely pass them next patch.0 -
