i bought a digital copy from another retailer, maybe i should send them a mail to and see if they have encountered this too.

To set up your sub plan, you can do a few things. You can click the Home button at the top of this page, then the Account button. Or you can launch ESO and when you get to the login screen, there should be a link you can click that will take you to sign in to your ESO account page. Once you sign in there either way, there should be a notice saying you need to set up a sub plan to continue playing. The "set up a subscription" part should be highlighted in blue.

Click that and you should be prompted to either set up a recurring payment on a debit/credit card or to use a game time card. After you select one and hit the Continue button underneath, it should be a simple matter of filling out the required information.

After you've set up your sub plan, if you're using a credit/debit card, you might notice a 14.99 charge. Please note: you have NOT been charged now! This is merely an authorization hold to, well, authorize the account you've provided information for. It will be dropped within a few hours to a few days, depending on the establishment you got your card from.

Also, once you set up your sub plan, it might take 5-30 minutes for the order to fully process, so you might be unable to log in for a short amount of time.
