    Back to Topic, its more likely to get what you wanted Agesr ago, than what you want now.

    For example I dropped an Infused Sunderflame Dagger a week ago....but it has been nerfed with SS so useless again.
    Same for some trial loot....MD Swords drop pretty frequently, but DW Magplar is long obsolete.

    Mostly because I've given up farming it so will never set foot there again!

    Hmmm, everything people have listed I have. Bsw inferno was pretty *** to farm. Have lich swords, spc restos and several alkosh lightning staves...

    I got most of mine from chests, given away at least 4-5 spc resto staves.

    I guess the only thing I've never gotten is a Winterborn ice staff

    It boggles my mind when sets have bonuses that are clearly targeted for a particular weapon type but that weapon type seldom, if ever, drops. ZOS should INCREASE the drop rate for those weapon types and DECREASE the drop rate for other weapon types. It’s common sense, people.

    running with a stam dps , and getting all the resto and destro of every set , 0 melee weapons.

    I had one drop in Training trait when I was actually looking for Divines or Infused Breeches. The game is strange when it comes to loot drops for sure.

    Every kind of Staff!!! I always get staves of Medium/stam Sets, like Why TF does this even exist, get out of my face!!!
    I've given up on BSW and my most current disappointment has been in searching for an Imperium Ice Staff.

    I hate RNG!!!

    BSW Inferno Staff. I ran vCoA I & II for a year. Never got a single staff in that set, but every other set came up with weapons.

    ZOS it's not random if the same trash drops all of the time.

    Not even going to run vMA or vDSA because I am not going to put myself through the agony of getting useless drops for all that work.

    I remember putting out 100k bounties on mending and Olorime restos. Up today I've never seen a mending resto even linked in chat. I eventually got my Olorime resto while on a stamden. Go figure.

    In oct/nov 2016 i was tryharding to drop a sharpened (lol) spriggan dagger. I killed 1099 worldbosses in bangkorai (yes i did count cause i couldnt believe my luck is so bad). i did not drop a sharpened dagger. i did get 23 restos of 7th legion,15 vampire lord bows and 10 ice staffs of spriggans tho.
    i gave up at that point and mathed out the dropchances. excel told me i that i should expect one specific weapon within 1248 kills.

    since than, im exclusively using crafted weapons.

    SCIENCE FACT: The game magically knows what you're looking for, and lowers the drop chance for that item dynamically.

    The best way to get the item you want to drop is to run the dungeon with someone who won't give or sell it to you when it does. It will drop for them on the first run, 100% of the time.

    Well, „smart“ loot. There could be someone who really wants to use a Moondancer bow or a Spriggan‘s Ice Staff in his build. If it can proc the 5pc it will drop, whether that makes sense or not.

    Don't "run" vCoA for BSW staves. Just do the chest farm. Faster, easier, more effective.

    Buy a bunch of stacks of key frags. I got full sets of SPC jewelry + restos + lightning staves (in good traits even) in about 20 minutes a couple of weekends ago, for myself and another healer.

    I hope you're farming AA on normal, not vet, because Mending has a much lower drop rate on vet.

    Seems like a lot of people's problems with drops come from ineffective farming techniques. :P

    Really I haven't had any issues with a particular drop since Transmutation became a thing, but back in the day I put in probably 300+ Maelstrom runs before I finally got a Sharpened inferno. Recently the only thing I've struggled with is Maelstrom bows for alts. Since I switched to PC I've only had a grand total of 3 Maelstrom bows drop, while I have a dozen Infernos and more restos/DW/S&B/2H than I can shake a stick at.
