Why do I even bother with PvP??? It is still a nonsensical hot mess that offers zero guidance. Can't get this dumb repair kit for a seige weapon quest work and now I can't get out of this place and back to Glenumbra. I just want to fast travel out of here but the transitus network don't allow that option. brilliant.

depending on what Faction you have choosen, when in game go to the Norther or Southhern most out post, here you will find 2 wayshrines one that is for internal PVP use only and towards the back you will see a 2nd one that allows you to enter/exit PVP back to which ever starting area you came from prior to entering PVP.
I had the same problem till I realised there were 2 wayshrines.
