This is me trying to bomb dc on back flag while ep is pushing fd to front flag. I would say there was about 100 of us in sej here total...

Anyway, you can clearly see the fps on this. My buttons weren't clicking... I proxied like three times in a row lol... This is crazy... who in their right mind wants to play a game like this? I mean it's physically unplayable...

I agree with you. Big battles like that with terrible FPS pushed me into retirement.

This is life in cyrodiil. I saved so many clips similar to this, with glitches, weird bugs, things where they shouldn't be, at some point I'm just standing there while everyone is frozen and then 15-30 seconds later a weird thing happens, and i'm flying inside the freaking map. yeah...

Cyro is unplayable (unless you like playing with yourself in a dead campaign). I did some BGs a while ago and stayed. It's not that I like the BG format, it's just that the server lag is not so bad as cyro.

I'm on PC.

My rather high end PC with i7 8700k Overclocked and 1080ti has the same issues. Badly optimized visuals and code are your culprit.

I saw zone chat saying it was a crazy fight. We had issue but nowhere near that (for the most part) but we were on the other side of the map

I personally think the devs have tinkered enough with balance. I mean, they got to be getting bored of it by now. Def ready for a server performance overhaul.

I play on PC with a very robust rig. I have seen worse, much worse. Haha

PVP lag is the single biggest problem in ESO right now. I am not convinced they have the ability to fix it.

Part of the reason for FPS and the serious lag is because that fight at Sej consisted of 3 Ball groups going against each other. I was also at that fight and my skills weren’t going off either. 😔

Maybe we should just put the VMOL curse on any group that forms in cyrodiil. If you get too close to a teammate, you start doing damage to each other. Haha

Noooooo! Really you can put most of that lag to the Dc group they do this all the time and whenever they get on I can feel the lag from the other side of the map

Yea going from larger pop caps before with 6 full campaigns 24 hours a day to one that’s barely locked for all three factions.

Makes it seem like it’s not a “big ball groups cause lag” issue.

Groups used to be a lot larger and more of them

I was healing for red in that fight, and yes, it was a nightmare.
Half the time, abilities just didn't work.

Every night kinda ends the same for me. I log on to my pvp toon to play out my last hour I'm on ESO, I get some glitches throughout cyrodiil, then I'll finally find myself at a keep where there's two zergs going at it and I'll start lagging...lagging...freeze...kicked from servers at that point I just turn off the console and call it an early night.

I turn off all active quest markers, quest givers & damage numbers in pvp and it helps

ZOS should add an "action mode" a la Nioh for consoles to help with framerate in cyrodiil/trials, basically an ultra low graphics settings.
I think a lot of competitive console players would prefer to play a PS2 looking game but with stable 30 fps than current graphics quality with single digit framerate.
