    It's part optimization and part technology. Can't be fixed completely, but it could be better. And in future will get better.

    I strongly believe all PvP should be forced to be no cp. People would cry and some would quit but they'd come back and everyone would be better for it.

    Was the same way at alessia yesterday when it was rezzie's last emp keep I kept trying to put oils up to try and defend and I would put them up then it would glitch out cause the lag and not let me use them at all kept getting hit with invisible crap and dying from it i don't even know where half the ad went that was defending the last emp keep I disconnected loaded back in and alessia was flipped red I think all the ad there trying to defend disconnected games crap especially in big battles doubt Zoe will ever fix it

    Why would someone play on Vivec with that amount of lag when you have Shor with zero lag?
    I mean, I do have Vivec as home campaign and I play it a lot during normal hours. But when everyone is there I just switch to Shor and can have tons of fun as well.

    Imagine that, I remember during the IC event the only campaign that was still mostly empty was the non cp campaign. I enjoy playing battlegrounds because it's non cp, I don't play the non cp campaign that much because there's only like 20 people in there who play lol.

    Since BGs was released I PVP there exclusively. Why deal with lag if you don’t have to? I get that the play style is different, but is it worth it?

    To see my faction Victorious in Vivec is worth all the lag to me but I’m probably in the minority 😞

    Hey guys sorry it's been a while, I wanted to mention this: I know there's bgs, I know there's shor and non cp campaigns that don't have much people, I switched from magsorc to stamsorc (thank you zos for that btw which is totally cool not saying anything lol), went nord too to counter the stupid warden buff, but I did this to simply be able to keep up with these new "balances" and it's doing okay. In all honesty, I don't know about ya'll but I am getting tired of this ship on this long and strange laggy cruise. I'm thinking to just finish it 100% cause I like the game and then like all other liked games of mine say my goodbye. Time to move on.

    Yeah ZOS definitely needs to do something about restoring performance and fixing lag.

    Often times PVP is literally UNPLAYABLE on consoles and only BARELY playable on PC

    True. It's that no CP campaigns are ghost town (and why I go there if I'm gonna go at all)

    It's literally unplayable. I like to bomb, but when it gets like this I just head for BGs or Imp City. This is just ridiculous honestly. I can't comprehend why a company would look past this and not figure out some way to fix the issues. You can not play a game that functions this way. I saw a video of the early days of eso where there were groups easily this big fighting and not one bit of lag. All the sets, calculations, outfits and styles, and animations that have been added have just wrecked performance.

    I get this kind of lag all the time on PS4 too, and I don't even play in Cyrodiil. It happens wherever there are a lot of enemies. I have this issue a lot in dungeons.

    Lmao this game is doodoo, I just got off because of constant death delays and not being able to hit buttons. SHAME ON YOU ZOS for thinking this is OK!! They truly believe because they take in revenue from the crown store and whatever else, that they believe this game is doing well? This game has so many long lasting issues its unplayable, I cant even binge play this game anymore because the constant lagging and everything else has destroyed this game.

    A hundred you say? Well I wouldn't even get in the door before I would disconnect 20 meters from the front gate guaranteed
    That's just how it's been since lightning patch amongst other bugs that I have to actually build around. Servers need some serious work before that younger sexier game comes along

    its the server performance and network in those scenarios. I belief aside from the bottleneck of ESOs server side the network between you and the server as well as the quality of your IP and network card play a major role here.

    Stop the grind! Get rid of stupid events and daily-quest gallore. Get rid of "have a chance of 1 in a million to get a piece of 1 in 30 to get a stupid motif or pet... wtf..."
    And at this point just remove all classes and have everyone choose their set of skills. then balance accordingly to skills always used vs. skills never used.

    I had the exact same issue but with a little different
    My game looked like that when i was just standing still in stonefalls
    So i know how ugly this game can be and im surprised that you dont got kicked

    Now i got a new pc and dont have any problems left^^
