NO. MORE. NERF. THREADS. THEY. ARE. GETTING. BORING.

Can't people suggest ideas on how to buff up the other classes in order to make them compete better and level out the playing field more instead of nerfing a specific class and then ending back up at square one again an update later?

Problem is, when people start saying can you please buff this class to do as well as others, you get people calling them stupid. Never seen a "buff this class" be met with anything but hostility from the majority of players.

This game is balanced via forum whining.

If you dont counter whine the forum whiners you end up like nerfmire magsorcs.

Whining leads to balance in ESO

Whining leads to a worse game. Being less salty and fighting for the classes you love, which should be all of them. It would create a more balanced game and a better atmosphere for yourself. :)

You are absolutely right, 100% of it. But still thats now how this game works. As said this game is balanced by forum whinings that leads to classes being useless as DK have been for a LONG time, just because after beta children with daggers + magica skills could not kill pure magica DK's

Its all a rotten circle, if i dont do it others will. I choose to do it as others do :)

No it wouldn't. It would create more balance by saving useless classes that were over nerfed. Which in return, would make PvP more strategic, rather then everyone just playing a few classes.

Also, you still haven't answered what classes you play and if you just play bgs or do you play cp cyro? I mean, since you won't answer any questions, this just seems like an unproductive rage thread asking to nerf a class that you can play. Which is not productive in you getting any better at the game, and more importantly having fun. If you provided your classes and the issues you are having, people would offer you help.

I am a Magblade/Stamplar main and got AR 40 on both. I play all kinds of PvP and there is not a place where stamdens are not OP. Show me a weakness Stamdens have in their setup and then we can talk. Every other class lacks something.

Warden doesn’t have a hard CC among their class skills. That is it’s weakness. Also, shalks is hard to land and easy to avoid. I have both a Magden and a Stamden but neither is my main. They’re probably my third or fourth characters.

Easy fix, make cyrodiil have faction specific zones with the other factions as npcs in that zone.

So if you're a blue, you'll log into a Daggerfall Covenant specific zone filled with 'red' and 'yellow' npcs that look like real players only they just use light attacks and mud balls. This should cut down on the whining?

    They have everything
    • NB levels of Sustain
    • NB levels of Burst
    • AoE Burst unmatched even considered the Proxi-Det days of the past
    • Magplar levels of Self-heals
    • DK-like Tankiness
Pretty much, every high MMR BG has few of them just spamming Sub. Assault and Steel Tornado bursting down everything in sight. In case, stamblades or stamplars, you can simply burst them down in retaliation faster than they can reset, stamdens will just reset fights at will. Also, out-sustaining them ain't really an option either, due to their great sustain paired with Heavy Armor and is getting a buff next patch.

This post deserves to be nerfed!

Do you run a defensive set, do you run some sort of utility or do you build straight for damage? MagDKs are much tankier even in light armor compared to NBs like me who chose to remove our signature defensives.

The only thing wrong imho is that shield that completely nullifies projectiles..

I just walk away on my magsorc, because I know there's just no point even trying. No single ability should completely nullify an entire class.

imho most of the cries come from the small-scaler groups who kite (with speed - being nerfed), while almost immune to range damage - into a choke-point - then into co-ordinated multiple aoe burst and ulti dumps. (being indirectly nerfed by evasion).. Aside from that, just don't be dumb, chasing them into a choke-point.

anyone with Sword and Board can do that, and it costs a whole lot less for a stam class and lasts 5-8x longer + it makes it so you can block 8% more damage with it on your bar. I don't even use shimmering shield on my warden. I use the S&B one.

My intuition says that Warden needs only one change to make it appropriately balanced:

Remove the magicka restore on Shimmering Shield (all morphs).

This addresses Stam Warden directly because they then have to make choices for magicka utility instead of potentially having 100% uptime on a ranged hard counter and Major Heroism while also having enough magicka sustain to use other buffs/utility.

Magicka Warden can obviously maintain it easily, but they would need to make smart decisions whether to cast this or Annulment.

My only real beef with Stamwarden is that they can't be bursted by any build with a ranged component yet they have one-shot capability themselves. Dk reflect makes slightly more sense because they are intended to be more DOT and skill combo centric and can't wombo-combo everything so easily.

How are they going to cast it? In BG without CP buffs. Stamden has to maintain at least 2 magicka cost buffs , a third can be cast slightly staggered out of combat. In Combat Regen is so low for magicka that if you run fortress+lotus you will not have any magicka avail to run shimmering or vines.

Here are some tips from a completely average player. I play every stamina class.

    Heal yourself.
    Use Break Free.
Pay Attention to aoe spells, skill sounds, active debuffs.
Don't run Vamp on every single build.
    Manage resources.
    Don't chase kills.
    Build correctly.

When a player has successfully DBoS and spun down your team 3 times in a row. This player has identified that you are all squishy and lack effective healing and awareness. You will now be farmed. I can't tell you how many times players in light that don't heal then sit and complain about OP stamina.

The problem is that although there seems to be some form of MMR it is not consistent. Some matches I play I can tell within the first 30 seconds how hard I'm gonna have to work and others I can run around tanking damage dropping DB's and spinning down 4-5 players at a time.

Every time I thought a class was OP and didn't understand how they were doing what they were doing I went to character select and made that "OP" build. You know what I always found? I had a serious lack of understanding. Not only for the class but also how to effectively use my class and the games mechanics to counter it.
