And, once again, you aren't paying a subscription fee until after the 30 days. You are having an authorization, which is then immediately removed from your account. You aren't actually paying anything. There is nothing at all false about the statement you just quoted.

Alright good we've come this far. That's what I wanted you to agree with me on.

Now tell me why would they say they are 'helping to ensure people have access to their 30 Days Free.' to those who have authorization problems and can't afford it on their card at the moment, if they are in fact not doing so at all and instead asking to charge credit cards regardless?

They didn't say they weren't going to charge you. They didn't say they'd let you subscribe in 30 days.

They offered to extend your access a few days to get the money. That's very decent of them and isn't something they at all have to do. That's helping. Plus, one broad statement from one community moderator person here doesn't translate to: 30 days no subscription for everyone! It means, on a case by case basis, we will dole out some extra time to help you do what everyone else has to do, subscribe.

Ok, then explain me how i must setup an authorization without a Creditcard or paypal account? And without paying another 15$.

I said in my post the only thing i can do to authorize it, is by paying up front the second month by using IDEAL, paysafecard or a game time card. These ways charge you directly!

And ofc i know one is being charged after the first month, but that's not my point! My point is, if the only options you have are either ideal, paysafecard or a gemetime card you already paid for the second month, since it's being charged directly.

I doubt your second ticket was ignored; it probably got lost in the madness. Take a moment to step back and realize you're NOT the center of the universe in regards to the game. Not trying to sound like a jerk, but a lot of people gotta understand that customer service is dealing with a SERIOUS amount of issues.

It's not even a full week after official launch, people. Customer support are humans like the rest of us. They make mistakes, they say things they can't follow through on. And they're being ground into the dirt like bugs by people screaming for their tickets to be put above all the other requests already in the system.

Look at the posts by the ZOS people around the forum. How many of them are anything but courteous and attempting to be helpful? Not once have I seen any of them mention the way people talk on this forum, even if it's a polite "Please be courteous and respectful of the support staff, we're really busy and doing everything we can". And still people crucify them.

Basically what I'm saying is you might feel upset that you were "ignored" or "being lied to", but what you need to do is have patience and use the time they're willing to give you now to keep working on getting the issue resolved. It might take days, but if you're not willing to put in some effort to get a problem resolved, that's on no one but you.

    Sigh, smh..

I agree the 3 days was very generous but it is not needed and I don't actually want it.

And yes, one statement does not translate to that obviously. But having it as #1 Stickied announcement on the Customer Support forums will lead to it being a meaningful post, a "Come here for answers/help!" type of thing.

As for the "what everyone else has to do, subscribe" is my point exactly Midgardian. Many people were told that they don't have to subscribe at all with the purchase of the game, and can stop playing if they end up not want to pay after the 30 days. Come the launch day that all changed.

People keep saying that every subscription mmo does this, yet world of warcraft does not. Imagine that.
Yes it did in the beginning lol when it launched for the first time....

Well I put my codes in and picked my sub plan, and they charged the bank. It is there in black and white. Of course it will drop off but I know for FACT when I go WoW BC, I was never asked for a sub fee until after my 30 days of free time was up. All they did was send an email a week before my time was up that if I wanted to continue playing my 30 days was almost up and I would have to sub.

It's all good, I can afford it. But it is shady and very bad of them to charge a full sub to check if you have money in the bank before your free time is up. It is none of their business to be honest. With the game people purchased 30 days time (free time if you must). And some people may not want to play after their 30 days free time. So why must they even sub yet? You didn't with WoW and most others MMOs I played were free of subs.

There is something fishy the top rank people are trying to do, whether it is to make their sales look good to stockholders or etc. And people have a right to complain. They just spent money to get the game and it comes with free time.

The way they are going with their customer service and being on the shady side they are heading down the path at 145 miles per hour to F2P, and when this happens I will be sad because this is a truly amazing game, but I will stop playing once it is F2P and go back to WoW (which I haven't played in over a year).

And those making excuses for them, go ahead. It is just going to ruin a game that could of went far.

The whole point is the 30 days included in the purchase. First that must be delivered then a subscription should be required. To not let one redeem the code without set a subscription is utterly ***. What if people don't want to play after 30 days? What if they were counting on game cards? What if they won't or can't use credit cards? What if they can't even pre-authorize if a person's card is beyond limit? What if the person bought the game expecting to sub in 15 days time to match their expenses? Point is, should not have any authorization, charge or whatever enforced. I never seem that in a MMO. If you buy some game you have 30 days and no credit card required until that is over. There's Thousand reasons a person can't input their credit card now, from being unable or to manage their expenses in a scheduled time.
