✭✭✭✭✭Stamdens are stupidly OP when stacked on top of each other and given access to a templar’s purify.
By themselves they’re one of the weakest classes because of how telegraphed their burst is, and how lacking in pressure (no class dots) the toolkit is.
They are the polar opposite of NBs - they are op in group situations (NBs aren’t) and underpowered alone (Where NBs shine)
If you’re a NB and losing to a stamden 1v1, night I suggest making a stamden yourself? Once you play it you can learn how to counter it. There’s a reason you don’t see any stamdens winning dueling tournaments these days (kodi did it once a year ago, but came back the next week on a stamblade and won again on that class...)
The most common complaint about stamdens IMO is when you get hit with 4x shalks at once, there’s no counterplay. Also, in PvP groups, stamdens have made Stam DKs irrelevant.. but that is changing next patch (slightly...) with minor brutality becoming 10% wep dmg instead of 5.PC NA - @dazkt - Dazk Ardoonkt / Sir Thogalot / Dask Dragoh’t / Dazk Dragoh’t / El Thogardo

Umm magwarden is also insane it's just not as braindead easy as Stamwarden.
You obviously have never played a magden and have no idea WTF you're talking about..I'd agree with you on Magdens in PVP but after a year and a half as a clunky, time delayed,buff laden magden I call BS on this statement.

Can't people suggest ideas on how to buff up the other classes in order to make them compete better and level out the playing field more instead of nerfing a specific class and then ending back up at square one again an update later?

✭Taking an objective look at this class, it is apparent to anyone how ridiculously OP this class is. While, there are/were other OP classes in ESO's history, there has never been a single class that can virtually do everything without any given weakness.
They have everything- NB levels of Sustain
- NB levels of Burst
- AoE Burst unmatched even considered the Proxi-Det days of the past
- Magplar levels of Self-heals
- DK-like Tankiness
That's all very well.
But what about treasure chests and fish holes that go partially plundered?1 -

✭Stamden is basically all aoe.They got nerfed with the evasion change, just slot a skill that grants major Evasion which is 25% less aoe damage.PS NA

I'm still amazed that folks call to nerf x "in pvp." Seems to me that they should have learned by now every patch EVER that nerfed anything nerfs both pvp AND pve due to how ESO is made. The system simply cannot separate the two which is what makes balancing skills and classes difficult. I actually enjoy that apsect of the game because it keeps things changing and challenging. As long as I never agree with nerfs, classes should have their strong and weak points. Stamden doesn't have weak points.

Ok, Assault, Steel Tornado and Dawnbreaker get an indirect nerf because of the new evasion, but that's not only for wardens.
No class should be able enjoying the carefree package!

Stop the grind! Get rid of stupid events and daily-quest gallore. Get rid of "have a chance of 1 in a million to get a piece of 1 in 30 to get a stupid motif or pet... wtf..."
And at this point just remove all classes and have everyone choose their set of skills. then balance accordingly to skills always used vs. skills never used.2 -

✭✭Yeah Stamwarden is an abomination but no way they'll nerf their Crown store baby. Pay2Win is here to stay in ESO.
The only real counter to a stamden was stamina resource poisons. And they’re nerfing those. The only straight up legit reasons for slotting such poisons was that pay2win stamden class or the better yet those Zerglings running around in organized Zergs of 10 templars, 10 Wardens a so-so NB and 3 “warrior” DK’s Lol.1 -

When stamden tanklings change to a dps like magsorc or magblade they are a 2min job for me and im not a good player..
Therefore its pretty much clear that outside godmode stamden those scrubs tanklings die like fly's.
L2P dont hide in your heavy armor + reflects + stacking 3-4 heals and specially with your tankling friends that stack heals.1 -
