Charged $59.99 twice for one purchase of the game??? Help?

So I went through the normal stuff purchased my copy today through the website and on my account I am being charged for two full versions of ESO when I only purchased one... I look on my eso account and under history purchases it only shows me buying one so why was I charged twice??

Sharakor✭✭✭I had the exact same problem when I pre-ordered the game. I payed with paypal and the first time I payed (after clicking "Sumbit Payment") the website was loading and it stayed in that loading stage for almost 15 minutes until I gave up and closed the browser. I checked if I received any mail confirmation of the payment but there wasn't any. So I proceeded to pay again. A couple of days afterwards I noticed that I was charged twice for the same game in my Paypal account. I reported this problem to ESO and had no answer so I opened up a dispute with paypal and got the money back for the first time I payed. Try emailing ESO support or something but that is probably going to take ages, the customer support system is probably saturated, I would honestly just cancel the payment straight from my credit card provider.
And yes my ESO account, under 'Billing History', also said that I had only payed for 1 game.0 -
Drako21393Soul ShrivenWell on my account it shows the exact same charge of 59.99 twice and they are both pending... So I'm assuming they are charges. But was hoping it was just a second weird.. authorization charge I would rather not have to cancel it through my card company and for some reason risk them getting rid of my actual account I purchased...0

Drako21393Soul ShrivenYeah like you said I checked after the first time when purchasing I forgot a letter in my billing address so it took me back then I did it as normal got the email etc. So I go to check my account and yeah it was the two charges of $59.990

Sharakor✭✭✭It's tricky, with paypal I could explain what the issue was and clearly said that I only want one of the payments cancelled and the one that worked (the one that I saw in my ESO acc page) to remain as is so I wouldn't lose my account. I suppose ESO staff saw those details and took action from there. Anyways even if you lose both accounts, which I don't think you would, if both payments are cancelled you can just buy it again, no harm there!0
