    What kind of bare feet?

Fleshy bare feet? Furry bare feet? Scaly feet? They'd all sound different.

(Also, fleshy bare feet, running, is going to sound like something else entirely.)

Skyrim had this, and I don't think it was a mod I was running.

Anyway, I noticed the omission a couple of years back in ESO. I was so used to the different sound that Skyrim made when barefoot that I would notice when I forgot to ready shoes after redoing my armor. I accidentally did this in ESO and did not notice for ... well, I actually don't know how long. Feet were hidden by robe and what you can see is not always obvious.

I asked the sound people, and apparently, this is not an easy add to ESO due to how they do the footsteps sounds.

As to whether they should have it in ESO... meh. I guess I am Ok either way. Would be a cool detail to the game if they did, but I can certainly live without it.

I take my shoes off to sneak around the house, so what sound that bare feet make are you refering to?

It'd be nice, but before that particular detail I'd also fix the fact that wearing a costume does not change the sound of the gear you're wearing underneath while rolling.
Kinda weird to hear my one-heavy-piece-wearing Khajiit go CLANG while roll dodging in his soft & silky new moons cross-sash robe, for example.

Yeah. I've always wanted my characters to scream in pain whenever they walk on unsuitable terrain.

It wouldn't take much time to implement feature like this, its simple but effective.

Actually, I think it would, in this case. I don't recall where I asked, or the exact answer, but my guess is that one of the audio people could answer. Maybe @ZOS_SoundMaster?

    Depending on adventure.
For example, if its fridge raid at 3AM I dont really wear sabatons, tbh.

Anyone play FO3,FNV or FO4? The ghouls in that game have the sound of bare feet. It always reminded me of someone slapping someone else in the face with a chuck roast hearing the ghouls run around

I'm ok either way, but you can just turn your sound down in the meantime to make the walking softer.

It does take a lot of time. Terrain and floors have the sound it plays baked into the object like, before it is even put down in a game environment. Even before a designer sits there and decides when to transition from dirt to wood to marble that sound is already in there. They would have to go back almost to the beginning of creating the floor type in order to add this.

If you didn’t add a pinch of salt to your pie crust mix you can’t go and add that after the entire pie is baked and served.

I'd rather the devs spend their time on things that really need to be fixed. Im still getting the sprint bug and I have to swap zones/relog to get my mail. I would rather these be fixed first.

So your reason voting no is because you think voting yes increases risk of this feature being added before bug fixing?

I don't think that would be the case.
