    NAY!
    1) Expedition should be left alone, at least in PVE. Especially the three armor sets that make werewolf fun to play, since so much travel time is wasted devouring corpses.

    2) Nerfing Swift (and speed in general) to compensate for poor server performance is silly. Upgrade the infrastructure to handle the speed and provide for better targeting, not downgrade the player experience to reduce Cyrodiil lag and disconnects.

    3) Not listening to the player base, especially making sweeping changes that are almost universally disliked shows poor communication and makes one wonder what is actually going on behind the scenes at Zenimax. The customer is always wrong! /puzzled

    * Bird of Prey beserk for slotting instead of activation and expedition uptime double nerf
    * New Arctic Blast Magden stun introduced in a state useless for Magden as it has a health scaling heal and no mag scale damage
    * Cost increase on Fetcher Infection even though the dot is incredibly weak as is and needs to be double cast in order to be of any use

    1. Mobility nerfs. FM becomes laughably useless on many builds. Destroying of Major Expedition uptime will destroy a lot of playstyles as well. Pain point is Swift - it needed a change, but not the ME and FM.
    2. Removing burst heal from Healing Ward (rip light mageblade). :P
    3. Grim Focus animation delay. :/ Another destructive factor to fast-paced combat system.

Or just stop zerging solo players. Most people dont kite in 1v1 but if you come in hot with 10 zergbads ult dumping you, why shouldnt i kite. I smell a l2p issue on you.

    • Blanket Nerfs:
this ruins viable builds and forces them to build into the mechanics that were causing the issue in the first place. Major expedition changes are very similar to Defile changes, in that the speed builds are hurt much less than low mobility builds in the same line that high healing builds were hurt less by Defile whereas normal builds had to invest into greater healing
    • Homogenization:
This is a class based game first of all. Secondly, "bringing skills in line" is the same as "making skills the same". Homogenization actually increases the difficulty of balancing as it reduces the number of variables. There are significantly more ways to balance N=x+y+z than there are to balance N=x+y
    • Lack of Actual Balance Attempts:
Nerfs to over-performing mechanics are necessary but, unless something is severely over-performing, nerfs need to be accompanied by some form of compensation in another aspect to maintain the power balance. Taking magsorcs as an example of a class that was not over-performing, removing shield strength is a big hit and nothing is given in return (initially). (*Warning*-basic algebra with poor notation ahead)
If the desired value is N|N=x+y+z and magsorcs were performing at iN|iN>N, where iN=x+y+iz, then changing the strength of the class by a factor that is not x/i+y/i+z will not result in a value of N, but of some value <N.
Simply put. If N=9 and magsorcs were at iN=9.5=3+3+3.5, where z(3.5) is shield performance and z is reduced by 2 than magsorc performance goes to 7.5|<N=3+3+1.5. The values of x (3) or y (3), where x and y represent other aspects of the class such as sustain and damage, would need to be increased by a sum total of 1.5 in order for the class to actually be balanced. So what should have happened without the community having to rage the forums was N=4+3.5+1.5. This didn't happen, Instead we got some value <N. And this is the sort of elementary knowledge that even Wattson would know.

    Nay.

Not because of PvP buffs / nerfs (I don't PvP), but because in 2014 I have signed up and paid for the PRECISE gameplay I desired.

If I wanted to play an healer, I'd have returned back to GW2, where "mages" have some healing mechanics.

If I wanted to play heavy armor, I'd have returned back to WoW, where warriors are the proper heavy armor reference implementation I loved when I played it.

No. I always loved playing mage or "warlock" and ESO had a mage / summoneer class that really looked like it.

Like proper mages, sorcs in 2014 came with shields, light armor, a big badass spell, roots, teleport, staves and so on. Just mages.

This is what I signed up for. This is what I paid the collector edition box for.

That's what I faithfully subscribed until I achieved the special Senche Tiger for.

Now, I don't even care if in the future they make ultra overpowered heavy armor and / or healing sorcs. I don't want to play that. Period.

Let me write it simple: I signed up for a mage and want to play a MAGE.

They claim they are trying to bring dps closer together with these nerfs but they are just white-washing everything that makes each class unique.

    1. Shield nerf - I never stacked shields and don't plan to start. Not sure whether I'll be shelving my mag toons, switching them to heavy armor, or will be able to find a class and build that can still solo group content.
    2. Pet changes - Invincible here, die all the time there, don't pull aggro anywhere... Sorc pets now appear useless for soloing hard content
    3. Another DLC, another batch of face-roll open world content, group content I'll be in the wrong time zone to complete, and gear I'll never get.

I'd gladly pass on the new content if I could also pass on the new "balance."

1.) Speed nerfs were over-broad and didn't address the real issue of speed stacking. The problem was pvp'ers who: a.) built for sustained speed in excess of major evasion; and b.) players who built for sustained speed at 30% (major evasion) with the ability to have temporary speed boosts that put them in excess of major evasion.

For the vast majority of us, there were many pain points speed boosts (and swift) helped alleviated, these across-the-board nerfs will do more harm than good in the long run. The nerf of swift to 6% is too harsh - 8% gold would be good. Make major/minor evasion not stack with percentage based speed buffs. Make percentage based speed buffs stackable only with other percentage based speed buffs to a maximum of 30%.

2.) NBs got hit hard with a sustain nerf -- too hard (via ability cost increases). NB pvp'ers who build for burst damage have no sustain issue ... gankers of any class have no sustain issue. Sustain can't be judged by dummy parses -- that is not representative of actual sustained combat in pvp or pve. a.) The 30% increase to our 'spammable execute' is harsh -- I mean it's called a 'spammable' for a reason ... it's not some ability that was merely a 'part' of our rotation ... it's our execute!; b.) doubling the cost of our most powerful ability (grim focus/morphs) was even more harsh. We pay to use that ability; the reason we use the ability is for the proc; now we have to pay again to use the proc we already paid for. Paying the base cost of the ability plus 50% of that cost for each proc x2 procs per cast = double the cost of that ability; c.) the nerf to refreshing path hurts more than I can say. You justified the nerf by saying you wanted to give NBs something unique to bring to the table. Well, what was unique about refreshing path was that it healed, did damage and provided a temporary speed buff. Dismantling the skill ruined what was unique about it! To make up for that loss will end up costing me more in sustain, and sustain was already an issue. In fact, sustain is the major pain point refreshing path helped to alleviate! (I'm a stamblade)

3.) Changing evasion to reduce AOE damage was a bad move. In a slugfest laggy enviorment (pvp) sometimes all you can reasonably do is AOE damage. I don't think I need to connect the dots for you to see how this was a bad move for pvp. Get rid of the AOE damage reduction and, instead, give it a 25% reduction in snares with a few seconds of knock back immunity. That would have been better.

    pain points of nerfmire:

    - ZoS way of "balancing" with a sledge hammer, best shown in this "nerfmire" update

    - homogenize classes over time

    - nerfing stuff that no one asked for and ignoring feedback

=looks like im having my 3th and maybe the last big break from this game :/

p.s. all players that are tired of ZoS beeing sh*t in terms of "balance" should stop giving $$$ to ZoS so they notice that they are doing something really wrong!!!

1.) Blanket nerfs to speed was way to much, it’s gonna hurt small scale PvP to just node gathering. Need to stop balancing with a hammer.

2.) shield nerfs, scaling off of max hp is stupid. The shield will be gone is seconds, making them not worth slotting at all, imo. I still say they should just not be stackable that way you can choose a defensive shield or a heal shield. But I could be wrong. I will give them credit for reverting the cast time changes though.

3.) Soldier of Anguish, this set needs a complete redesign. Way too strong in PvP.

    1. Shields being capped to health %
    2. Sustain being dropped on NB, DK, Sorc
    3. Loss of NB support uniqueness.

    Pain Points:

    1) ZOS's heavy-handed approach with the nerf hammer bringing huge changes all at once rather than making smaller changes over a period of time.

    2) ZOS's habit of ignoring the feedback from Class Reps (at this point I am beginning what the point of even having them is if their feedback is not being used).

    3) ZOS's lack of providing a clear vision for what they want for ESO. Do they want classes to have their own identities? Do they want the classes to do things other classes can do?
