Or is there something that allows you to see people through walls while they sit in stealth?

I was in a BG fight, stealthed behind a thick wall completely away from an enemy's position. All of a sudden he breaks off and runs straight to me and hits dawnbreaker DIRECTLY ON THE SPOT I WAS STEALTHED ON (and it was not a corner btw).

Has anyone ever witnessed or experienced something like this before? There was no angle/corner he could've seen me from. There was no way he saw me even with detect pots because I was never in his line of sight in the first place... What the actual hell...

I would share a video but will not s due to ZOS's policy on naming/shaming.

You're on PC? Of course its possible. Ive seen cheats out there in other games that highlight players through all geometry so you can see where they are at all times.

No he was positioned on a flag and suddenly broke off to get me, i was nowhere near any main route either. It was more of a chaos ball camp spot. There was no fight going at the time either. The spot was vacant.

This was on Domination btw. So I dobut it was an accident.

I've seen players stealthed in the distance briefly appear. I think it's just one of many z0$ bugs.

Keep in mind that just because an enemy can't see you, doesn't mean he can't hear you.

Though the possibility of a cheat is always there. I really doubt a wallhack though, It just sounds pointless to me. This isn't a shooter.

Yes, you can still be heard in stealth/sneak.

Lol that's funny, I know him and he posted a confused pic in discord. He's a former top tier PvE player that's swapped to PC to enjoy the glory of the master race. I'm gonna say that he doesn't cheat so I'm betting you just got smoked by a really really good player.

Doubt it's the same person because we won that fight and I never died there. I don't think it even matters how good you are either. He went after me, behind a wall, i was in stealth, not moving, and he hit his DB, before my screen could even register him next to me.

Unless the game bugged out (doubtful), there was something not right here.

Also, how do you know he doesn't cheat? Noone can ever know who cheats. I knew a guy in WoW for 12 years and never suspected anything before he actually got banned for botting and hacking.

Man, that salt is real lmao. Please go ahead, post the video and expose me. I didn't think i wrecked you that bad but i guess I did. At least get some details right, i didn't even have dawnbreaker on either of my bars, i sure wish i did now because i would have loved to one shot that squishy toon. Second, i feared you out of stealth while you were peaking the flag we were capturing. Word of advice, next time you try to stealth, make sure someone didn't see you before you went stealth. Third, it's BG's everyone dies. Thanks DMC, you da man.

1. I was never peeking around the corner, I was near the middle of that wall 2. You weren't even there when I got there in the first place 3. It was dawnbreaker cause fear gives off no flash, unless it was the friend that ran straight after you. 4. You never killed me, so idk who were you wrecking 5. I watched your group scatter and run away after we killed your healer. 6. What do you mean squishy? You couldn't kill me in 2 then later 3 people.

Not to mention that if you actually did fear me, that's even smaller radius, and it was on point. You literally stood over me right after I got hit. Questionable stuff is questionable, so please cut the superiority act. You know damn well what you did isn't normal.

The man said it happened in Domination and not in any flag games, plus he got hit by a dawnbreaker... so maybe, idk, MAYBE, this isn't about you??? Just a thought. And the Salt? Lmao, your response was the most salty one here, but I digress.

In fact, I wouldn't care if you did, even if it was 10 times over. You said it yourself, everyone dies in BGs/PvP. That's how scores are earned.

I’m just hear to enjoy the salt. Like I said, I honestly suck at pvp. I just raid. You can’t stand losing a fight so you throw insults at people and then play the victim when confronted. Again, stay salty. People like you make bg’s interesting.

That's nice, I'm here to enjoy a fair game with no cheating, I see something out of place, I'll offensively question it. Call it salty if you wish, I really don't give a rat's arse as long as we understand each other. Which seems to be proving quite difficult.

Well I think this is a perfect example of the need for a BG rewatch function. Something you can do after the match and see from any players cam. Might fix some of the mis-understandings IMO.

Wow a PVE raider cheating in Battlegrounds for what? Lol, love how there are so many accusations of cheating/exploiting in this game's PvP community & it's usually made by the people who don't know how to the play the game. "aNiMatioN canCeLing iS chEatIng" being an example.

Is this why so many AD players crouch right in front of you? Do people really think that they can't be seen before they stealth or as they stealth?

I came here to get advice, to seek an answer to what i witnessed, in hopes of people responding and telling me.. O yeah thats normal that happens or something. So I wouldn't have to report anyone. Those who know me, know i can get all heated up like crazy but, I always want the nicest resolution to any situation.

But some of the responses here... Do people just get on the forum to attack each other for fun these days?

Did you have a noncombat pet out? Those do betray your position, might have guessed you were there because of it.

Time of day/night may have an impact on the types of responses...

No offense intended to anyone on this thread, but I do get a kick out of reading the late-night/early morning threads while I'm at work, keeps me entertained but perplexed at what the anonymity of the internet can bring out in people...
