I got hammered by this today in Cyro. 5/1/1 legendary yellow gear all impenetrable....18.5K. 17.5k physical resistance with boundless storm.

And the developers of this game are worried about adding a minimum travel time to crystal fragments.......

The player who hit you with it, must have been glass cannon. And prob balorg monster set with a lot of ult so he sacrifice a lot to be able to hit your hard. Just my quess tho.

It doesnt matter what he sacrificed. If you are able to hit another player that hard in non-cp the ability does not need to exist......the fact that nightblades can do this from stealth is one of the many reasons this game *** sucks now. The fact the developers are still concerned with nerfing magicka sorcs and they continue buffing that *** class (nightblades) is yet another reason they are misled/speaking to wrong people/drinking mushroom tea....not sure what they are thinking or if they are even thinking at all.

IIRC it's got similar tooltip and scaling value as lol assault.

Stop asking for nerfs and start learning to adapt to difficult situations.

Overcoming challenges is what makes PvP fun. You have armour sets, you have skills, you have potions, poisons, enchantments, Mundus stones all at your disposal. Your creativity is your greatest offence and your greatest defence.

The issue isn’t the Ballista, the issue is you.

A low damage soul assault kills you in that same situation. An average meteor+burst kills you in that situation. Dark flare spam puts a major hurt on you in that situation.

An ultimate skill against an unaware player out of resources should be pretty damn lethal.

What does a wpn class ability has todo with nb's my little biased friend? Just because he killed you with a ballista lol please I have fought stamplars that potl you drop a ballista cc with javelin and tenderize your health with jabs to then blow you up like a fire cracker on the 4th of July with potl... Did a nb stole your lunch money?

their not going to do that, these nerf threads are simply hate filled retaliation Campaign because their class got nerfed and it will not end well for any of us.

Seriously one day I'm going to sit here and request nerfs to all the crap that kills me and refuse to get better at the game I paid for, lol give procs please and also hand me all my kills so I can feel accomplished in life...but honestly can you all stop being slobs and actually look for ways to tweak your build learn mechanics soft hard counters when to kite when to line up your burst when to disengage and go defensive and build a gap between you and your attacker like in the case of ballista. Instead let's just make it garbage for everybody because is killing you (not selfish at all) that ulti is one of the best wpn class ulti for some Stam builds for pve...
